Question for guildstone collectors

I know quite a few people have amassed awesome collections of guildstones and was wondering - has there ever been any collaboration from these collectors to assemble a list of their guildstones? I know I'd love to see if any old stones I was involved with have survived the years and I'm sure others would too.

These are a great piece of UO Community history.

Honestly it would take a few hours for me to list them all but you can swing buy and take a look at my Castle in Malas. Pacific Shard

Step on the front step and you will see about 80% of them on the rooftop.

i only have two, and i dont think i could ever part with them.
$C$ my first guild with vile, ken, etc for about 11 years
and the original FL stone.
If you don't know who FL was, well you havent lived, lol.

Why where the guild stones removed?

I thing there was some problems, with guildmasters placing the stone in a private home and not allowing the members to access it.

I PMed the player trying to buy it from him, but he wasn't interested. I guess he got it from the rare house that fell on GL. Sadly he wouldn't sell it to me, exspecially since I now play on GL and have the gold on GL to buy it.

That is too bad but at least they don't poof anymore so I suppose we should he grateful for that. I wonder how it got to Great Lakes in the first place!

I have a few but most of them were my own guilds. The one I most cherish however is the Yew Town Council stone.... Which at one point so I'm told we blessed by the old Seers and such and was "gold" in color. Because it was one of the first ever town councils.

However at some point someone cried foul and it was returned to the normal hue.... which is sad.... but such is the way of things. At any rate I keep it safe and have cherished it since I was elected the Mayor many years ago.

I also keep the stone for the Town of Nightwood..... which used to be north of Yew.

I have a stone for the Yew-wood Forest Theatre. which was a guild named for my Theatre.

And the Dread Men Walking. Such a fun guild that was.

"The player was not interested in selling" is not really true, but he is busy with RL and the consequences of the RTB houses going away, directly affecting his stuff on various shards taking a lot time for cleaning out.

Guildstones were a big pain to add titles and such but there was something special about bringing a newly accepted recruit to the Guildhouse to be put on the stone.
Guildstones were a point of community and pride. I know you can put some of them up but it's just not the same without the ceremony and functionality.
