Each item has 125 durability and comes tagged as imbued when you get it, which means you can't use powder, ever. Each set is comprised of four pieces, and each piece comes with additional resists, especially fire resist or cold resist (the helms always give cold resist). For example, the Bestial (Berserker) Suit gives 64 total fire resist from four items before you even imbue.UO Herald said:New Imbuable Item Sets are available:
Berserker’s Gear: the wearer gains a special berserk combat effect when at low health
Fisherman’s Gear: wearing these items enhances the effectiveness of any fish bait used by the wearer
Virtuoso’s Gear: these items improve a bard’s Mastery Bonus
What you see before you imbue holds no weight, which means the additional resists do not count towards the Total Property Weight of the item. However, since none of the items are Exceptionally Made, the Weight Cap for each item is 450 intensity.
For example, the Bestial Helm (Berserker's Gear) is: 8/6/22/7/7
The base of a Bear Mask is: 5/3/8/4/4
If you attempt to add cold resist, you can only get it to 23 (8+15), but if you add fire resist (3+15 = 18) you have added only 100 intensity out of 450 (8/18/22/7/7).
The Bestial (Berserker) Gorget is a studded gorget, the Fisherman's Trousers are studded leggings, and the Virtuoso's Tunic is a studded tunic. In other words, to make any suit medable you'll need to waste a mage armor property on one of the four items in each set.
While wearing the Bestial (Berserker) Set, if your health drops below half, "You enter a berserk rage!" and your suit changes color (red/orange). The more you drop below 50% health the more rage, and the color will change too.
When you are in a rage, you take less damage from spells and weapons: "In your rage you shrug off 10 points of damage." The odd thing is the display damage remains the same, so you may get hit by what looks like 25 damage yet receive half that during rage. Pretty interesting. Also, the rage seems to continue as long as you have incoming damage, or else it will time out over a period of a few seconds of not being damaged.
I'm a little less interested in the other two suits as far as testing them out right now but I just thought I'd gather some info on the Bestial (Berserker Suit) for now.
