If I want to sell a keep on Seige, and I only want gold for it on seige how much should I ask for?

it really depends upon the location. not just the actual location, but neighbors or lack their of, house cover, environment(ice, swamp, grass) and most importantly who is buying. keeps can be fairly cheap. i have personally given away 4 keeps to guildmates. however, i have never sold a keep for more than 10 mil and that was when the market was ripe on siege(about 1.5 years ago), prices have seemed to settle in since then. but there is a HUGE price difference when it comes to castles. when i first got here 4 years ago castles sold anywhere from 15 to 50 mill. if you can find someone selling a castle now i think 100 and 150 mil is more a going rate depending on the same conditions for keeps. bottom line, castles are more desired and less available

Castle and keep spots do not fall often. Take your time and get a good deal. You might also ask for gold and trade. You may get some nice items that way.

I think there are only 3 scenarios where a siege house sells for anything, and the anything is usually many millions. Those scenarios being 1) It's a castle, 2) It's a keep 3) it's a non castle/keep but in a unique or otherwise highly desireable area, like luna or zento, or the abyss, if those ever went up for sale.
Since there is still plenty of room for random custom houses, people are probably only going to be looking for one of those upgrades if they are buying.

Some keep locations are worth A Lot and others are not worth the cost of placing. For me the handful of Island Keeps and Castles are prime real estate on Siege for obvious reasons. Next Would be isolated mainland with no neighbors. Safe haven would be the exception IMO to mainland keeps as it has a unique community. The keep and Castle fields in the Swamp, ice island, etc. are not of much value IMO. I am biased though since I have a island keep. Value of that location is subjective since I placed that keep I have had offers to buy it ranging from 5mil from a individual to 300 mil. from a guild that wanted the entire island to use as a base. the 300 mil did include all 6 houses around the keep. On the other hand I had 3 swamp keeps that I sold for 1.5 mil each and all 3 were removed or fell within 6 months and were replaced by their current owners. So what it comes down to is location and what that location is worth to the potential buyer and what the location is worth to you. My island keep...... I would not even consider selling lower than a couple of platinums is that what it is worth on the market? Nope that is what it is worth to me.
Read her first and then last post...weird threadNot a weird thread, Sprite Full try to find out, what would be a fair price for both her and the buyer, who are a guildmember as far I know.
The thread show, no one really know a going price for keeps.
More importantly though, did it help or hurt the value of my Keep south of Wrong ? I'm thinking of selling it.
