ukee me hab kum across oomies agh panzees dat nub gruk da uruk way meeb hab oomie makr tu blah at lat su lat gruk da uruk way....

*pokes tied up shopkeeper with large boar spear*

ahem... excuse.. me umm... the Warboss of the whta did yo call them the gouged eye tribe of shadowclan Orcs would like me to ummm illuminate you on some intricities of the orc way of life namely what to do when you ...*coughs* encounter them in the wilderness.

first if you see an orc or group of orcs look to see who is ranking orc there .. yes yes I am getting to that part I cant talk with you jabbibng me in the back... yes where were we .... you must talk or Blah with the orc in charge the orc in charge is usually the biggest meanest ugliest... no I didnt mean that .... orc in the bunch normally called a Grunt, a gruntee is a servant orc hoping to klomp r kill ots of oomies or humans to be given the title of Grunt. sometimes and many time sis the kcase with the gouged eye clan they seem to have a prponderance of mojoka or magic users a junior or apprentice mojoka is called a mojokii. always remember that an orc will talk first, before an attack as really they just want shinies ro gold and lots of food they are a hungry race ..filthy little buggers.... no no I didnt mean that sir no no!!!!!!

*sniff* *sniff* that was my hand .... as we must proceed lets talk of the tribut orcs will ask for tribute first if encountered outside their lands... if you are found in side their lands then you may not get a warning and rather as I did while traveling from Yew to skara brae I know I should have taken that boat.... you may be captured or killed on site, as well any human or elf found inside the fort of the gouged eye tribe will be killed for tresspassing.

a suitable tribut may take the form of gold I would give them all that you have safer that way, sometimes they will take a good weapon if they are so inclined. the orc rules of engagement are as follows.

If the human r elf does not respond to the "tribute" demand, they are allowed to be attacked.

- If the human or elf runs after the "tribute" demand, they are allowed to be attacked.

- If the human or elf player attacks before the "tribute" demand, they are allowed to be attacked.

- If the human pays a decent tribute, they are allowed to LEAVE, but not STAY and hang around the fort. After they have paid up, they should be herded away. If the enemy player stays for more than a minute or so, they are allowed to be attacked after they have been giving some form of warning that the "tribute" only allows them to pass through our lands alive, not stay in our lands.

if nothing helps and you are involved in a rukus with the orcs there a few rules to rmember when fighting them... if they cath you they prolly wont take everything infact here are some helpful guidelines.

When looting humans, the ONLY things orcs are allowed to loot are the following: Weapons, bandages, reagents, potions, empty bags, resources, gold, and armor (only if it has been crafted by an orc or was previously the identified armor of a slain orc or orc ally).

I hope some of you will heed these rules and if any of you wish I pay 1000 gold pieces an orc head ..... *thunk* AAIIIIYYEEEE !!!!!!

Har Har dat oomie nub sellin dat stuff nub more lat gruk da uruk way iv lat hab ani qweshtuns lat kan send Mo'gluk a pigun

I dont think he means anything more than who am I to try and educate oomies about the uruk way.

I try to return the orcs to siege because I feel they belong there, if a bunch of orcs (ORC) came back to seige and demanded the fort I would bow to them and either join them or if they refused to allow that I would take who would follow me and stake a claim somewhere else. But I checked ORC and there arent anymore on the stone one I believe, although I only check the first stone not dub as well.

anything I use ruleswise or such comes from my time as an orc and the skribbles associated with another place, there is no desire to compete with any other orcs merely an attempt to return a beloved piece of siege history. And with or without the help of the parent shadowclan society the orcs have returned.

Methinks you are doing a fine job trying to enhance the role-playing on the shard.
A definite A+ for the effort.

Roll around in some flour, take off your pants, then go play with your spear in the fields.

And they're congratulated.

Yet when I do it, all of a sudden it's a felony....

When I played an Orc, Snaga, it was only for a very short time -- got in Shadowclan at the end.....*sniffs* it was sooo much fun being an orc.

In response to the first poster, i would like to add that if you do manage to kill an orc, remember that scissors are sooooo very important to an orc and it would be sooo very nice if you left them on the corpse. Also, when I played Snaga and died, it was soooo hard to get back some weps and armor (she was brand new character and didnt have many skillz), so be kind and leave wep and armor too.

Im not advocating a "no looting" on orcs, but just trying to point out that in Shadowclan an Orc could not get a house (hut) for a loooong time and Orcs couldnt visit banks/towns. Basically Snaga had what she carried until such time as she met some other SC Orcs at the fort. I tried explaining all this once to some ganker but they just laffed.

And yea, it would be great to see the Orcs back in force --- years and years ago Ari was so terrified of them! hehe.

Good Luck Orcs -- sending you some cookies and ale!

as to some of the rules we are going to have some changes people will need to be aware of, anyone who has been klomped by me ora few orcs I know have been offered a rez by me and normally I dont loot why? because what you have I dont need nor want. we did have an experience where we had a guud klomp wit some oomies and we klomp'd em and then let them rez and they came again and then they got klompd again, well I was finally out of some important stuff and I was dropped. was dry looted no prob there but the rule now is the old rule you stay in the lands and you will be looted, bring da klomps I like da fightin juz remember you want to take advantage of our laws then you will be hunted and klomp'd and klomp'd and klomp'd

*dons mask*

Nope, the Shadowclan isn't returning to Siege. We're happy where we are now.

Best of luck to Mo'gluk with bringing an orc clan back to SP, but he is NOT one of us. Please don't be confused.

Gouged Eye Orcs

Umm, you mean his guild abbreviation? It would make sense to me for the orcs to use it if it is available. I doubt his intention was to make it confusing...I haven't seen an "ORC" for a long, long damn time so by naming it "ORC." i think it just makes it obvious that it's an orc guild. I don't think the intention was to pass off as Shadowclan but just as orcs.

Hmm, interesting. In other posts I've seen him refer to the Shadowclan website but he also made it clear that it wasn't his guild. I would imagine this was from confusion, but hey, I'm just guessing.

Honestly, I don't give a [censored], I am happy to see orcs, orc.s, savages, or anyone else here who wants to RP.

I'm happy to see an orc clan here too. I just don't want them mixed up with us, which was my only real concern from this post.

My apologies for my original comment - I was unaware of the previous history of the Gouged Eye Orcs, and this was the first I'd seen of them on the boards. The post reads as somewhat of an introductory post, so I assumed it was a new orc guild trying to pass themselves off as us.

Best of luck to Mo'gluk and his clan on Siege Perilous. Make the humies cower in fear!

They've been posting here and there for at least a few weeks but a few hours before this post was the first time I'd actually seen them out and about so I think that may be what prompted it.

Seeing orcs and savages in action again makes me want to make one or the other but I have very little time to play right now and I'm an introvert anyway. I am very excited though to see them and I might have to run Alamore by the fort sometime and have a fight with the smelly creatures.

I think they are just trying to identify with the old group that once inhabited the Yew Orc Fort. To many roleplayers, I am sure, the Yew Orc Fort is synonomous with the Shadowclan Orc, and thus the Gouged Eye Tribe, which inhabits the same area, which shares the same ideals, the same concepts, the same language, and so fourth, seeks to identify with what they might consider their forefathers, without actually claiming to be affiliated with the same group OOC.

It would be like if some old guild from years ago had a player-run village in the same area you are building a new player-run village. Having information on the old village, you might say that your new village contains many of the decendants of the old village, who have come to reconstruct their fallen homeland. They arent claiming to be the owners of this old group, merely the new version.

It is kind of like the Dark Tower on Baja. It was one of Baja's most powerful evil roleplay society for a long time, but after the second leader Na'Krul left, the tower went into decline and ultimately collapsed. Well, the Dark Tower was so important to the history and roleplay of Baja that a few years later Lady Ivy ressurected the Dark Tower and proclaimed herself Mistress. She collected some of the old texts and grimores from other roleplay libraries around the shard, and restored what was once lost. Eventually, some of the old vets saw this and came back, which created some very interesting roleplay.

The Gouged Eyes are merely claiming to be an offshoot related to the Shadowclan, their current successors to the Yew Fort. Just because the Shadowclan suddenly left the shard doesnt mean that the Shadowclan suddenly ceased to exist at all, and no decendants or inheiritors might come and claim the lineage. Just like how some of the Roman Emporers after Augustus Caesar claimed to be decendants of the royal family of the Trojans.

Edit: Bah! I type to slow. *looks up*

man I leave for a few hours in the sun and whammo lots of people are talkin about da gouged eye,

asmodeus my scant few words for you I have no intentions of passing off the gouged eye as the original shadowclan I believe dragonwarder has said it best that all orcs due to history in siege been associated with the shadowclan, in fact I look at the shadowclan orcs as a species of orcs meaning all roleplaying orcs are of one species but as a group the gouged eye will be different, the game has changed too much from what the shadowclan used to be. many rules (rules garnerd from the blakfist tribe) have needed to be changed and some will continue to change as I have felt taht orcs needed to evolve with the way this shard has changed.

I posted in the shadowclan posts almost a month ago asking to be a gruntee not start my own tribe and the only reply I got was to come to an "island", which is fine my brother is there with the clan, but he and I have idealogical differences regarding this and that is fine as the orcs liked a pre-Aos lifestyle, I want to see orcs move into a new era with new skills and "stuff" where we use what we want how we want to teach these oomies who are da real bosses.

obviously I dont have any desire to be in competition with the clan, as to the title of our tribe leader "Warboss", also I stated in my interview which is out somewhere (man that otto has crazy hours), we will be a predominately mojoka tribe with magic pervading or bodies and blud. we will be using all of the new skills I have decided no skills will be turned away for being un -orcy rather we will take what is given and use it, it was probably meant that way by the orc gods anyways.....

I hope that the shard will see us as a tribe of orcs but anyone one who is an "old" orc will see many differences. the first being I will take the fight to da oomies and panzees where they live. this does not mean house fighting in luna gah!!! that is funni sometimes, but we will venture forth and make use of the changes in siege.

so If I offended anyone (or if I bored them with the long winded post) I apologize that is not my aim nor the aim of anyone who joins me, we merely want to play a game.... and get sum shinies
