I would like to make a formal request to EA.

Can you PLEASE work on bug fixes and PvP imbalances before you start on the next publish or any other new game content?

We have been promised for years upon years that you will correct in game bugs and PvP balance issues, yet you have not.

Examples:
There are still weird flagging bug in PvP, such as; Why is it that if a dexer flags on someone without causing damage, they are not the aggressor. The person who does damage first is the aggressor. So a dexer double clicks on the mage in war mode, the mage counters with a spell. after a bit the mage dies and HE is in FLEE OF BATTLE!!! WHY?

Why can reflect phys armor get you guard whacked when someone attacks you in guard zone? The Reflect Phys seems to hit first sometimes, making the person in guard zone the aggressor and gets him guard whacked.

Why is it that hit spell (lightning) on a bokuto does not release the nervestrtike special? I can understand if the lightning hits first, and then the special goes off, but this is not the case.

I still do not understand the logic behind a person having to take 2 seconds to mount an Ethy, yet a person with a normal pet can insta mount. This can be a huge imbalance in PvP.

Upon death all battle flags should end and a person should be able to go res immediately. Flee of battle makes no sense since you are DEAD!!

Why is it that every combat template, except mages, can dole out as much damage as possible during a fight, yet mages are relegated to interruption spells? If there were no speeder, scripts, hacks and cheats, as well as the fact that connection and PC alone can impact a mages timing, then it would be fine. But the fact remains that a mage with a better connection will usually beat a mage with a bad connection. This should not be.

Will you ever return Reactive Armor and Magic Reflect back to what they are supposed to be?

I'm sure not everyone will agree but I personally think that a huge part of PvP imbalance is the fact that most templates no longer need magic resist. They just use trapped boxes, pots, petals and anything else they can think of.

If every PvP temp needed Magic Resist then you would not see as many uber dexer templates.

People with the Ninja skill should not be allowed to use pets like Hyru's offensively in PvP, unless they have the needed pet controlling skills. Dismount, Nervestrike, bleed from hyru and deathstrike = dead in less than 3 seconds! I would be OK with this if EVERY template had the ability to kill someone on 3 seconds. Instead you have a very powerful template, Ninja, and to add insult to injury you give them the ability to use a very strong pet as well!! :lame:

I've asked for this a million times: Please make every wandering healer in Fel red. there are no need for blue healers in Fel. Also please add a red Invulnerable healer in Del and Papua. People who do not want to PvP have Tram. People who want to PvP have Fel. Reds are being discriminated against for no reason, now that we have a Tram.

My bad, I meant to say Bushido.

In the end, it's the same thing though. An overpowered pet that should not be able to be controlled without the required pet control skills in PvP and in Fel only.

the whole purpose of a lesser with bush is to make you think twice about using dismount,Find another way to fight besides dismount all the time and you have no problem.

I am not sure I follow what you are saying.

Example: I am a mage with no ability to dismount.

The Bush dexer not only does a lot of damage but he can also sick his pet onto you with no taming or any of the pet control skills.

It is the Bush dexer who is doing the dismounting and then saying all kill.

Or was my post to cryptic for you to understand?

only problem i see with this is, if they make it so bushers can't use hyru's in fel, they'll simply make it so no one can use them.. in trammel as well.

The flagging bug? Not sure what you're talking about there. I think this bug is simply an issue with those reflect damage properties of armor. It's needed a fix for a while. Which is why I never make a suit with any reflect damage in it.

Unbalanced with an ethy mount? No. An ethy mount cannot be killed, cannot be attacked, it's a mount that always stays with you. A simple horse can be killed in one hit. More powerful mounts used by tamers I see simply as a reward for their skill. An ethy mount is worth the 2 seconds it takes to mount.

The only thing in here I agree with is the heat of battle not wearing off after death.

I've cut out the things that I feel are actual issues, I'm here to address the others and numbered them for reference.

1. Actually that's EXACTLY how that happens. Harm and Lightning hit BEFORE the weapon, making them optimal to be placed on a weapon with paralyze, so that mages spell casting doesn't interrupt the paralyze (with the "That is already paralyzed" messsage). Not sure when Velocity hits. Haven't bothered checking it out.

2. The mount timer was added for a reason. It's really easy to have 3-4 ethy's in your pack and have UOA buttons to use them each.

3. I don't agree with this. I don't have a good argument against it but I don't agree with it all the same.

4. See, I read this and to me it just says "I'm not a good mage". I've played a mage with over 100-200 ping for years. It's stopped me from dueling, but it never stopped me from killing in the field.

5. Never, they work fine as they are now and have purpose. I would like to say though that Mythic has enough in the way of flagging issues on their plate, let's not complicate things more by adding reflecting spells to the mess.

6. PvP isn't really all that imbalanced. Considering the times of no caps, 4/6, and the FC Necros and the WoD SWers, and the evasion mages/necros, I'd say right now is a pretty balanced time in PvP, however that is only in comparison to other times. Granted I haven't flung myself back into the fray 100% (or even 20% for that matter) so I can't say how off it actually is but there's nothing glaringly wrong with it like in times past.

7. They don't need magic resist. Get that out of your fool head right now. (Psst, if you tell them they need it then my sleeps and para's wont be as funny so stfu about that right now)

8. No. If you wan't a pet to fight with you get the skills appropriate to get yourself one. As you make it evident you just want to be more powerful, there is no actual reason to do this.

It would make sense that the weapons properties hit before the hit specials on a weapon, so I'm ok with it, just wasn't sure what order then went of in.

True but I've seem people on faction mounts that literally run, dismount, insta-mount, run dismount, insta mount.. they do this to stop from being dismounted. and it takes a bit more to kill a faction horse.

Field fighting is 100% diff from dueling. Field fighting is not really this issue as much as mage dueling is. And maybe your right, why revamp magery just for dueling. so good point... but.. you have to admit that mage dueling is dumb, especially when you compare it to any other dexer dueling temps. I have seen a person with 90 magery beat a person with 120 magery just due to connection speed. To me this just seems wrong.. doesnt it to you? After all if two archers were flagged to each other and both afk (meanin no specials) the archer with better skill would kill the archer with less skill.

Well Reactive armor and Magic reflect are pretty useless now especially with imbuing out. Why is it ok for Necro to have blood oath but mages not have magic reflect anymore? So I'm not sure how you think they still "work fine" since the release of SA.

There have always been some big pvp imbalances. With that said:
Most really really good dexers will destroy a mage in a duel. In some cases the mage doesn't even get an offensive spell off. This is how it goes; Disarm, Bleed, Conc or AI, Deathstrike in about 4 seconds = dead mage
Really good Archers can 3 hit kill which takes about 4 seconds (can you say Yumi) = dead mage Plus all dexers can hit and heal on the run

Yet a necro mage has to corpse skin, evil omen explode flamestrike pain spike. which is well over 10 seconds of casting time. Plus mages cant move when they cast spells.

In regards to Magic Resist, I do think it should be a mandatory skill in PvP. A dexer can just run away to fight another day, where this is more difficult for a mage to do. Mages dont have a dismount spell, yet every dexer has the ability to dismount so long as they have the appropriate weapon. Dexer can render a mage useless by disarming him, yet a mage does not have the same ability to make a dexer useless. Oh wait, a mage can para the dexer.. oh never mind.. trapped boxes fix that. :rant2:

Deathstrike buchido/Ninjas are super hard as it is, they should not be able to also use a pet in PvP unless they have the appropriate taming skills.

Funny how a ninja can switch to animal form and get the benefits from those forms, yet a mage doesnt get the special attributes from the forms the polymorph into. why is that?

I can say 100% for sure that there is a flagging bug.
I have no reflect phys on any of my suits and for some reason there are times when I get attacked and die I am in flee. I'm sure part of it is when a dexer double clicks on me in war mode, he is the aggressor yet it doesn't put him in flee cause he didn't damage me. The moment someone attacks someone else they should be the aggressor and be the one in flee, regardless if they do damage or not..

There are other times that I can not figure out for the life of me why i am in flee of battle, when i know 10000000% for sure I did not flag on anyone.

Heck I've seen some reds just standing there and all of a sudden get guard killed, again with no reflect phys on their armor.

I would hope that they not address the issues. The reason being when they start to "balance" pvp it always ends up screwing PvM people...everytime. The entire structure of this game makes it too easy to cheat especially in PvP.

I use my lesser hiryu on my pvm sampire all the time. No way I want to loose this to some PvP whinefest.

I fully understand, but the Devs do have the ability to remove them from Fell PvP without impacting Tram.

Personally I find it selfish of you to say dont fix it because I don't want to see them mess with us in Tram.

With that said, what about all the changes they made to Fel to appease people from Tram!!
