News from the man who likes to blow things up ....

The invasion is now moving on to the next phase, here are the changes you'll notice today. There will be additional changes over the weekend, so stay tuned!

[*]Difficulty balancer enabled. Spawn will initially be weak, but will become harder the faster its defeated. This is the same system used with the Grim Reaper.
[*]Guard zone removed completely from Magincia. Factions should still operate correctly, with extensions for traps/guards further into the forest.
[*]Barriers and defensive lines established. Wooden walls and debris should better control enemy flow towards the dock.
[*]Soldiers with cannons guarding the docks. These are not the player usable cannons: these will only destroy incoming monsters (no corpses).
[*]Healers available at the docks.
[*]Red healer available northeast of the city in the woods.
[*]Banker available on the docks near the ferry

And did it ever ramp up after a while... The city is covered with stuff now.

Definitly see different levels of difficulty from the same monster type.

Seen balrons, bone deamons, devourer of souls... The city will fall.

That is good if the end result is something other than a dead city.

Did I hear that only one facet will fall? I'm hoping Tram falls and Fel does not, but I keep on fighting for Trammel, its frustrating. However having to insure stuff just kills my bank account, and it's helpful having the other people around.

Yesterday I was kindly escorted out of Fel, it was funny, the old "retrieve your corpse and don't come back"

None of my PvM char's have the dex to push thru the monsters like we do in Tram, so if any facet going to fall it going to be the fel side I bet as most folks are like me and cannot fight their way thru a wet paper bag in fel. Still if I could have help in fel I would have like to but again put it down as not being able to move thru the sea of monsters that we were seeing in tram.

Yep, it certainly looks like Fel would go before Tram.

I'd be happy to just focus on healing and taking out the non arty dropping deamons, if you (or anyone else) wants to make a go of it. I love to run around hacking down Arcane's. I'd have to wear my almost all blessed armor so I didn't have to worry about insurance.

I guess it would have to be a clandestine operation ... uhhh maybe not one planned on Stratics.

Actually alot of us fel guilds have been over on the fel side fighting... only problem is eventual a group of reds come in and throw off our grove so we have to switch from the invasion to the human invaders

I do always see other people there, and even the PK's seem to be fighting demons most of the time. They are probably saying "I keep on getting thrown off my grove to kill all these Bluebies"

Does it seem as though the demons have gotten harder? A few days ago in Tram I was feeling pretty comfortable, and yesterday I was having a hard time. In expectation of being PK'd I was using much worse equipment, but that didn't seem to be the whole story, and I remember hearing that their difficulty would change in response to how people were doing against them.
