Ok , sorry for the wonkiness. I just snitched Hubbies laptop and th epark looks absolutely beautiful on it !

I'm running Windows Vista and UoAssist, and have both Uo and UoASsist set to "Run as Administrator". It keeps running through the patch cycle and telling me the patch session is complete but apparently it's not since the laptop is running version 6.0.6.0 and the new machine is running 6.0.5.0

Hopefully we will be able to figure out what is going wrong when he wakes up.

Love the new park and pressies on his machine ! Thanks folks !

Well,

600wings?

LOL.
You really should read my "the quest for making all warfork superslayer"thread.

I used 130+ Bronze hammers to complete that task.
35x130=4550 swings ! !

The cost for the 130 Bronze hammers?
I bought most of them ,lets say I bought all of them at about 50k.
I know the price will be higher now...

130x50k=6500k=6.5M=About one Agapite hammer.

Who will make the best weapon you think?
The guy with 130 Bronze hammers or the guy with 1 Agapite hammer?
Im not talking theory,Im talking about what practically will be the best weapon after RNG have done its work.

Result is obvious imo.Thats why I really think the intesities should be slightly decreased.

I love it.....all of it!!!
Stuffed animals and chocolate, yummmm. I'm so glad Wilki lives on in the valentines day blessed bacon, this is one tradition I would like to see live on forever. The new cards are awsome.

The runic changes I really love. Valorite hammers are for most people unobtainable, let me change that, all high end hammers are unobtainable for most people. It will be nice to craft some things I won't have to trash, though the RNG gods hate me, I'll be trashing most anyway.

A new Dragon..... even better. Though I love my cu, I miss my Dragon. Dragons should be part of any fantasy type game, but our dragons were almost worthless. It's nice that they realize that and changed it. I can't wait to get one and see what they can do. I don't believe it will be overpowered, afterall you're on foot, anyone can outrun the dragon, so I don't think it will be much of a factor for pvp. Take out the tamer first. I have read some stuff on tamers being also ninja's. None of mine are, though that's a consideration to move faster, I honestly don't have room or the desire to work up ninja for my tamer.

Over all I must say I am very pleased with the changes they have made, and the gifts we're getting. Kudo's to the dev team, you guys did good.

Anyone been mining? I'm curious to know what mining has to do with valentines day.

I do not agree with you here. Yes you can make a Lightning 50%, HLD 50% SSI 30, DI 40 weapon but not from a bronze runic, you need min a gold hammer to get 4 Properties and alot of luck to get all 100%

[/ QUOTE ]

Leave the crafting to the crafters and I'll stay out of your PvP changes.

The weapon listed has 3 mods at 100% which is now fully possible with the bronze runic.

The 40% DI comes from 35% from EX weapon and 5% from Arms Lore.

This is a fully possible weapon with the current system.

With my proposed change - the limit would be 80% intensity so :

Lightning 40%, HLD 40% SSI 20, DI 40

Still a very good weapon but it would take a higher runic to exceed 40% lightning.

Giving 100% mods to low end runics is too much.

How many weapons have you crafted on TC1 with the changes? I've crafted several hundred and they are too easy to obtain. Remember the first change to doom when the stuff was flying into ppl's backs? Its going to be that way with weapons if this change goes in as planned.

Recap: Runic bump is GREAT idea. Intensities levels are too high though. Fix it now, not nerf in the next pub after dmg is done.

If this goes in as planned - the PvP'ers can all trash their existing weapons. Every PvP noob will have a better weapon than you vets are currently holding. Is this what you want? Its comming.

[*]Added a new Chocolatiering branch to the Cooking skill (Known Issue: the new chocolates only appear on the Cooking menu in 2D) [*]Added new chocolate ingredients that spawn on paragon monsters

[/ QUOTE ]

As a chef and crafter, and not a warrior, is there any way to please reconsider putting the chocolate ingredients on paragon monsters? Please make them buyable from NPCs. Otherwise this neat change will be like so many other craftable items: something I will be unable to make because I can not kill the creature for the ingredients and unwilling to pay the exorbitant prices that they will command on vendors.

Unless chocolates will have some godlike buffing abilities - then keep them on paragons.

I second that.

Its so obvious that the intensitys is to high.

Ask the hard core smiths what will happen.
I would not hesitate to say that just Theo,Setnaffa and me have used easy close to about 400 Bronze hammers last year.

And Im not counting the hammers above Bronze at all.

I could myself provide most of the PVPers on Europa with uber 4 property weapons if this will still be on after release.

Ah - but you are wrong there. I have been hoarding bag fulls of runics for just this change. :) I"ve burned very few over the past year.

instead, I've bought every bronze hammer found on vendors on GL for 150k or less over the past few months.

But do you think you guys are the norm?
Not everyone is going to have 100's of hammer to compete with the RNG.

I dont see the point of turning the 100 cap down.

More colored bods are going to mean more higher end runics too.

No matter what is done. Crafters will generate high end items.

The flooding and uber problem comes with time. Time will allow more and more.

To me the issue is breakage. And the old debate.

Im more for lets make better stuff that you can use lose vs. make lower stuff but if you get something good its around forever.

No I dont,

but Im sure that we know how easy it is to get a Bronze hammer.
If you only need one uber weapon you will get that weapon inside 10 Bronze hammers. The thing Im worried about is what will happen when everyone have their sought after 4 property uber weapon?

The boost for us in heart crafters will be very temporary.

Itembased games need to get 'new levels' anyway with each expansion.

My guess is SA will introduce either wear or new 'levels'

You sneaky one.

Well I have myself burned 130+ Bronze hammers just to get all superslayers Warfork. And thatwas just during fall.

Most of them bought at 35k-50k

Theo you forget one thing, Normal shards are not = Siege
I have no opinion about if the runic changes are over powered on normal shards or not but on Siege the changes are great.

I don't see a problem here, not at all. Maybe more noobs will make it on Siege and our shard will get more players.

I have 2 chars, Tina Tink and Freja.
Tina Tink is a crafter, she don't PvP at all. She love running a shop and making orders for her customers. She do not really enjoy doing bods so if it get easier to get runic and she will have a good chance to make items her customers want, she will be happy.

Freja do not craft, she may collect some leather, but that's all. She do try to PvP but she die more than she win. She don't really care about upper gear, she will mostly use what Tina Tink drop in her armor and weapon box.

She look forward to see what Tina can make when the patch comes to Siege.

"Leave the crafting to the crafters and I'll stay out of your PvP changes."

I've got 2 crafters, so I guess that puts me in the "crafter" boat.

I completely disagree with you. This change will give players that don't have multiple accounts doing nothing but Bod runs a chance to FINALLY get something decent. You shouldn't have to be running 20+ Smiths to be able to make a decent weapon from a runic. The odds of something awesome being made are still low, just not impossible like they were before. Players such as yourself that run mutliple accounts with multiple Bod runners will still have the upper hand over the casual crafter, so you've really got nothing to complain about.

I like the idea that any runic has the chance of a great item - currently there comes a point where low-end runics become completely unused. It's nice to think that there is always a sliver of hope of getting a high, high end item.

However, perhaps its time to start making powder of fortification rarer ... not eliminate it entirely, just tilt the balance where replacement of items starts to become a more practical choice for all but the very highest-end items.

I have 2 crafters also. Both 120 smith/tailor 100 tinkering/carp.... (well, actually, one is mine, one is my wifes).

I think this is a great change. Will there be some elite top end uber weapons....well, they are already out there. This will allow everyone a shot at them.

Now only if they would do something about power scrolls.

Agree. It's bad enough what happened with ML and crafting ingredients. Please put these on an NPC. Or at the very least as a rare drop on normal monsters, not paragons or peerless.

WHY DO WE NEED A BUFFED DRAGON!! u kidding me? this gotta be a joke! if u want to keep buffing up monsters and player pets u better start buffing up us players and giving us some higher resist and stats. seriously this is ridiculous.
so what they cant ride a mount most tamers have ninja!

omg i cant believe you are putting in something so stupid! like we need anything stronger then a cu! we already own monster with reg pets why put a "god like" animal in the game that can be tamed

grrr *shakes head*

Krystal-sp

[/ QUOTE ]Relax, from what I've seen the newer dragon only has higher STR, HP and skills, but like anything else worth taming for some UNREALISTIC reason it loses half it's stats.
