Looks like there have been some changes since the original list. I have Ortanord at 5 points. I haven't been editing the 0 points creatures. I guess I should.
I've never heard of a 'cursed metallic knight' or 'cursed metallic mage' and I didn't know there was spectral armor in Ter Mur. Where do they spawn please?
Petra, I'll double check on the Ortanords. I was just listing the 0-point creatures to save someone else from having to check on them. There are a couple of other mobs on the original list that seem like they have had a change in their loyalty point reward value.
The cursed metallic knights, cursed metallic mages, and spectral armor are monsters that Niporailem summons. If you stand too close to Niporailem, he makes "funny money" (i.e., piles of gold) appear in your backpack. I think they're always for the same amount (273 gold or something like that??) but I can't recall what it is or if it has a different name. These piles of gold eventually turn into treasure sand, with each sand pile weighing 25 stones. If you drop the gold on the ground before it turns into a pile of treasure sand, it spawns one of the cursed metallic knights or cursed metallic mages (I'm not sure if it spawns the spectral armor too). If you're standing at a distance and fighting with a pet, I think Niporailem may also try to load it up with funny gold but perhaps it bounces off automatically and lands on the ground. All I know is that pretty soon your pet is surrounded with the cursed metallic knights, cursed metallic mages, and spectral armor.
The cursed metallic knights and mages appear in different colors that I assume indicate the metal they are made of (e.g., pink, green, blue). I've never taken the time to lore them and see if one color of knight or mage differs in stats, resists, and skills from another color, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do. I'm usually engaged in a mostly fruitless attempt to keep my pet alive with spell casting because standing close enough to heal with bandages is tricky, to say the least. Healing from a distance with spells doesn't work so well on a character with about 40 meditation skill and who doesn't have maxed out MR and LMC because its owner (me) is too cheap/lazy to beef up the suit. My pet always dies 3-4 times by the time we completely clobber Niporailem. We start out in the big open area and slowly retreat down the last narrow hallway with each death, with area peacing keeping the tamer alive while trying to position the pet away from walls and hoping a rez attempt is successful. The pet usually ends up killing Niporailem and company by the time we've retreated to the south end of the long hallway that parallels the main corridor of the Tomb of Kings.
I don't think the knights and mages are all that tough. There are usually just too many of them for me to really do that good of a job keeping the pet focused on killing them and also avoid getting too close with the tamer and becoming overloaded with Niporailem's "gifts." Niporailem can be soloed by a tamer but from what I've experienced so far using tamers with luck on their suits in the 400-800 range, the loot just isn't worth the time or the pet deaths.
When we first encountered Niporailem during the SA beta, the loot he dropped was phenomenal and there was no extra spawn or treasure sand. I thought for sure he'd end up being the new "swoop" and heavily camped. At this point though, I kind of suspect he's being passed over for other opportunities. I don't know how difficult he is to take on solo with a dexxer or a mage. My guess is that you might end up having your character's feet glued to the ground from carrying too much weight and/or being overwhelmed by the spawn. But then again with the potion-chugging scripts some people use these days, maybe none of that is really an issue.
