WOW what a collection of items!!! And to be fair theres been a few great collectors selling up of late.....

Well as always the revolving door will be open to u!!

Its always sad to see the a collector breaking up such a great collection but its amazing to see how many other people are bidding/wanting the OPs collection of items !!! which can only mean theres still a lot people collecting stuff and just maybe there is still a lot of life in our beloved game!!

Well thats how i see it!! Still lots of peeps paying very very good gold and indeed even real cash to keep this great game ticking over.

Just thinks as one collection ends.. another is added too.. and another is started up!!! what a great game!!

MEZ and CET are the same thing, Gencore !
Mitteleuropäische Zeit (MEZ) = Central European Time (CET)

That time zone converter is even more confusing. We should just use this stratics time. It looks like everytime we post it puts down the time and date.

Think u will find
2/09/07 16.00 MEZ is (-1 hr for UK) so 15.00 GMT which is actualy a lot earlier for u guys in america -(9 hours for usa) so u looking at auction ending 07.00 atlantic ?

the problem is both europeans and americans bid on the auction and i want to end it at a time that is convenient for both europeans and americans...

ok correct me if im wrong but:
20:00 GMT is:
21:00 (England) is:
22:00 (Germany) is:
15:00 US/central is:
16:00 US/eastern is:

If thats the case then the auction ends on 2nd of August @ the times mentinoned above...

I think all your times are wrong by 1 hour. England is currently GMT+1 due to DST offset. I am guessing you mean 21:00 local time England (GMT 20:00). That would be 22:00 local time CEST countries (Germany, Netherlands, Sweden). Others can be calculated as follows:

(including current DST offsets),
BST (London) is GMT + 1 (21:00)
CEST (Central European) is GMT + 2 (22:00)
Central Time Zone (USA) is GMT - 5 (15:00)
EST (New York) is GMT - 4 (16:00)

Thank god there are no day light saving changes coming in this weekend.

ok very simple. See that quote above? Each time anyone posts something it gives it a date and time and am or pm. So just say "The auction will end on 09/02/07 03:00 PM" as an example. Then we can all follow it because no matter where we are at we can use the stratics time as the countdown. And it will give us the acutal bid times.

That doesn't work. Your stratics listed time is based on the settings you have placed in your account options. Everyone's is different based on the time zones they have selected. If you just plugged in the numbers to the time zone converter it's quite simple... Choose his at CET plug in whenever he listed the auction will end, plug in your time zone in the bottom, and convert. I did this for EST and it worked easily in a few seconds of effort.

It would work if everyone would change their stratics time to GMT or something else that was all the same time. Maybe if I ever do an auction I'll ask everyone who is bidding to do that, that way all the times show nicely.

please note that i won't be accepting RL cash bids, unless you have an established reputation here (such as hemisphere, manticore or treyster). If you'd like to bid RL cash then you'll have to do a direct bank transfer due to numerous paypal scammers/reversers, who abuse virtual goods.

At what time does the auction end at? It said 22:00 hours, or 10:00 pm Middle European time. That ought to be 3:00 pm Central Time Zone, or 4:00 pm Eastern Time Zone. I ask, because when you mentioned that there was only 24 hrs. and 50 min. left of the auction, the stratics time was 12:11 pm (I believe stratics posts the time in the time zone of the viewer.. so for me Central, and for someone in New York, Eastern). That would mean the auction ends at 1:00 pm Central time. Would it end at 3:00 pm or 1:00 pm Central Time? Thank you!
