OnLive. Yes, I paid these people tons of money ... I guess from $500 to $1K estimating.

Sony bought them to make the PSNOW service. Closed the damn servers and never refunded any purchases.

Google Stadia i hear has a similar setup. You are charged per game you buy. You buy the rights to play the game over a stream unlimited times provided you got a device that can operate the service. For those who played in Arena mode or just browsed others playing in game.....or that legendary genius who did the Mona Lisa on OnLive brag clips in the beginning of Duke Nukem Forever, I salute you!

Second most annoying: Wii U and 3DS' Miiverse. it was great . The best incentive to buy a game and talk about it with friends. Or to meet new people. I have tried other social gaming activities but nothing beats it. Except for OnLive arena....

Get a Wii U. It is home to a lot of games that are being ported onto Switch. It plays Wii games but the kicker is that you can play "Virtual Console" games downloads of NES, SNES, DS, Wii, and GBA. Even N64. Get it before they discontinue the service. Miiverse was awesome on 3DS and Wii U. But they closed that down. I don't recall of mulitplayer gaming on Wii U is still available.

the normal Wii works also as virtual console for old games.. I downloaded them all before the Wii store shut a couple years ago, and now my Wii has all the classics. the Switch is for my newer games
