Making Blank Ruins

Is it possible to make blank ruins instead of having to buy them from an NPC?

Seeing people say ruin, instread of rune, is a sad commentary on the lack of basic knowledge people have about UO. Not quite as bad as a Dev flubbing moongate by saying 'runegate' in official fiction though. Yes, Mark, you'll never live that down.

Hey, I like ruins... I have one right in front of my beach house and use it every Thanksgiving to trap demonic turkeys in.... But it would be hard to make one... Hmmm... Stone carving for sure, and even some metal work if I'm not mistaken...

Sorry, but Carpenters can't work in stone. Their chisel's are for wood. A mason is what is needed....

GM carpenters can work stone if they read the book that can be bought in Ter Mur or Vel lor Reg

Give him a break - might be a new player. I used to call runic tools 'ruinic' for the first couple months till I retrained myself. Vets have no concept of how many terms, abbreviations and slang is part of this game that we take for granted.
