There's some concept art that depicts what the Balaur might look like in-game. They look somewhat bad arse and more than capable of crushing Asmodian/Elyos buttocks.
This is off the official European Aion website, and this bugger looks like he can crush a beer can with his eyelashes. I'm not sure if he/she/it has eyelashes, but I'm just saying...
I think there's more art within the "Concept Art" section of that website (background and landscape stuff), but it's looking gorgeous so far!
