I like this! It would make tracking a very useful skill again. If it could be done without being able to track humans from half a world away, lol. Course, that might be useful too. *raises eyebrows*I WOULD, however, accept the tracking skill being beefed up to tell you where a spawn boss or peerless is. Perhaps with 80 tracking you can track any mini-boss (as a dot on the map) -- at 90 you can pick a boss to track, plus you can see at what level a spawn is and perhaps where its center is.
You also shouldn't be able to pull a boss out of it's relative spawn, thus killing that spawn site for every other player on the shard. There are others besides you that play UO. It's not intended to use boss monsters to kill other spawn for you. They've already set that precedent when they changed champ spawns and the town invasions. It was a good precedent to set.Without that, you get stupid spawns like the town invasions, where you work on a creature for five minutes only to have it pop and return to its spawn point.
This is why It should be fixed. No whey! I love the way it is now. I can drag around the renowned pixie for hours making it do mah bidding.
Heh...right RichDC...it only lasts two hits vs. the slasher...lol.
I concur! They don't need to be leashed, but you should be able to find them. And breathing new life into an old skill is always a good idea.Oh please don't start trying to get them to box the spawns up.
One of the interesting aspects of all spawns is being able to pull them to other areas if you want. Without that, you get stupid spawns like the town invasions, where you work on a creature for five minutes only to have it pop and return to its spawn point. Disappointing AND unneeded.
