Its been brought up every time elves got talked about that that RG made a conscious decision to remove them from Ultima lore because he wanted Ultima to have its own identity.I wasn't an early Ultima game player. I didnt even get into the series until Renassance. After that I got into the the lore of the game so I can only speak of what I have read. But it does appear that elves were a playable race up until Ultima III.
That would be cool. Add one more vote for Ratmen. That said... RATMEN!
I would love to see this introduced. My only thought is how would they look different than the gargs we already have? Also would there be a new skill or two to go along with the new races?Half-Dragons:
Properties:
- Fire Resist: up to 75-80
- Dragon Breath: STR-Based just like dragons just not as powerful
- Ability to fly (like Gargoyles)
- Night Sight
Half-Demons:
Properties:
- Poison Resist: up to 75
- Physical Resist: up to 75
- "Call of the Balron": summons a Succubus (for male characters, or a Daemon (for female characters). Both of moderate strength determined by their skills in something or another.
- Ability to fly
- Night Sight
Thoughts?
Agreed........... instead, could we have attention to the problems we already have? We don't need "more" of anthing...... we need "better."Agreed.In my opinion, we have two too many.
You cant poly into a ratman. Also, polymorph puts you at a sever disadvantage of not being able to move on a mount or at mounted speed, and it demands that you spend a good deal of points in magery.Lizardmen and ratmen are available through polymorph.
How about you let us be Sheep...oh wait, too lateNo. Please... just no. lol

Exactly. People have been roleplaying Orcs in UO since it launched. There used to be a guild on Napa a long time ago that RPed as Orcs, and they wore Orc Masks and Ring Mail.if any more are added I feel it should be orcs they should have been the first added if any at all.
Maybe if female garg spellbooks looked like this:Is it my imagination or are nearly all player gargs male? If it's not, then something must be done to make the gargoyle more appealing to female UO players.
