Just wanted to show any up and coming imbuer's that making imbued throw away suits (or suits in general) need not be painful, overly expensive or time consuming.

I rarely use special mats other than relic frags as most are a pain in the ass to farm.

Also it shows my method of going about business utilising a simple spreadsheet which i find is the most helpful tool for imbuing.

It's dull and may send you to sleep quickly but you may gain something from it.

I have a more complex spreadsheet which i used on my regular shard which I no longer log in to.

Very nice!
I love that you make Kasa instead of those ugly leather caps.

I like my hats though (pref feathered ones ;) )

I can make this suit too but will my customers pay the price I want for them? My price would be around 400k as I can't find the time to hunt for the resources myself.

Somewhere under the rainbow...
Great video Nozomi! After watching that, it kind of makes me want to make a imbuer! Kind of... :p

:mylittlepony:Thanks!

P.S.
Great timing on making the video, by the way... Looks like I was talking about those stupid Pixies again...

Great video. You have it down to a science and even cost effective the priority for fails. You know how to do it. :)

I just use a piece of paper, draw a 3x2 spreadsheet, one for one armor piece, I wear the suit to see the resist on the suit.
Then I look for the lowest resist on the suit, with a hat, that is Physics.
I then add max PS too the hat as it will have lowest PS of the items and if PS is still lowest resist on the suit, I add PS to one more Piece. I put one | in the hat box and in the other pieces boxes I add too.
Then I go to next lowest resist and get the piece with the lowest of that resist.
I need to get imbue each piece one time and max 2 times.

I did test your spreadsheet, It's really nice if I need to make a maxed out suit as I can count the resist on each pieces and try to keep them all around 60 but the time to write down all the resist make it more slow for me to make suit

yeah, I understand the situation for crafters, at least here. WE don't have enough gold flowing right now to pay what the good imbued suits are worth. When I want to make gold (and not pilfer Kelmo's wallet), I can do so easy enough by selling imbuing ingredients. But since I have been back, and with working full time with OT in RL, I have spent all my time re-raising my skills, setting up two houses, one of which I just moved again, and trying to gather boat supplies. (I am also commited to getting back with a few of my non-computer hobbies as well) The good news is that we have a few imbuers that are willing to make what we want with imbuing. All we have to do is decide what we want and gather the stuff.

I did enjoy this video though. The idea of making suits with certain aspects is so daunting for me when I thought about it. When Kelmo's crafter was active I had access to it but it just totally blew my mind away. So I REALLY appreciate you crafters that can put this together, only to have me lose it to some swarm of monsters. LOL. I am perfectly happy to take my simple self down to the abyss and hunt ingredients for them.

I was never very keen on file sharing sites but I've signed up to drop box and here is the advanced version of my imbue calculator. Should be fairly self explanatory. The only difference between the one in my vid and this one is it accounts for all item slots and all you do is enter the numbers and tick the relevant boxes and it does the rest.

Imbue Calculator

Oh, I've also locked everything down in terms of formulas so I don't think you can break anything by accidentally deleting a key formula.

love it and thx for the speadsheet.

just a few tips - get another monitor and have both open and in view - unless you just dragged it over for your video.
also use the alt + tab to switch between windows. get use to it and it saves much time when flipping back and forth.

I only use spreadsheet if adding resists to garg suits, else I just wear the suit to see the resists. With Crazy Elf's changes to a garg named Demon with imbuing, my pain with the garg suits will be over as he can do it for Tina Tink.

This video actually helped alot when we did imbuing. I made a spreadsheet to help me out. It has your basic math formulas built in, but the best part is showing what everything takes and the max resists for stuff. IF you don't want to use Boura Pelts, you just take 2 away from the max resist. This helps me make suits so easily. Its a bit cutoff at the bottom, but you get the idea.

Typically what I do is get a set of armor and make it so I have 2 resists in the 70s or very high 60s (as curse just drops you to 60 anyways). Once I have that, I input each armor piece resists into the Spreadsheet. I then go through adding resists to where I want them and highlighting the cells so I know which ones I am adding resists too. I typically only have to add 1 resist to a piece. SO then I add extra mods knowing I have a max of 5 (including resist as a mod). In a mage suit, its always Resist/LRC/LMC/MR and either HP or Mana +. I can typically get away with only adding resists onto 5 pieces of armor and then using the 6th for +Mana & +HP. Same with dexxer suits, except I use + Mana/+Stam instead of LRC/HP. If I get a piece of armor I do not need to add resists on, I throw on HP+ instead.

This also helps me notice which mods I am adding take which ingredients. This way I can base it off fails/attempts/cost effectiveness. I always do anything needing Relic Frags first and typically do resists lasts. Or if I need quick imbuing, I know what ingreds I need already pulled to imbue something. If you notice, the best thing is that some items have a higher max resist. This actually makes it more cost effective to use items like bear/dear masks for headwear, as if I need more lets say Physical resist, I know I can squeeze 3 more out of a bear mask or I can get 5 more cold/3 more fire out of a dearmask. Yes, the base resists are lower, but its very easy to max out Poison/Energy or Cold when using barbed armor. I find myself adding physical/fire resists the most. I am ok with adding Fire, as that can be maxed to 19 which is higher then the rest, so easier to obtain max resists when needed.
