From some other posts and my personal experience of it, I have a feeling not every computer will be able to patch successfully their 2D client to Classic SA...

Hope I'm wrong though...

The classic 2d SA is the one that is being shut off because it is a beta test center. You keep playing the original 2d client that you have been playing for the last year or so.

Once SA is released their will be no problem, it will just be a patch download and you can play like normal (assuming you bought the code)
A few of the problems at the moment are probably because their 'using' files from different versions so as not to 'interupt' the original 2d client. The enhanced client is different as it allready has all the files downloaded and just needs the switch flicked to play it just like the Classic 2d client will become after release date.

and i have the feeling, that after release and the 2D patch is downloaded, many people will see a message like:
" Sorry you can´t enter UO because you are running a unaproved 3rd party prog. on your computer, next time you try to login and the unaproved 3rd party programm is still on your HD your acc will get banned"

muhahahahahha :D

I'll keep my fingers crossed

the so-called 2D classic is exactly the same client as you're playing now. The only reason there had to be a separate download was the the downloaded version had the SA content patched into it. When SA goes live our current client will patch up to be exactly the same as that.

Thx for your reply Petra :)

But that (and it is the UOSAClassic client open beta download i mean and i think you meant too) did not work for me on my computer (for whatever reason, or whatever thing I might very well have been doing wrong ) and this is exactly the reason why I am a little anxious...

Hope it will be ok with the real UOSAClassic client though, given your replies all *crosses fingers*.
