Topic says it all except, that the question comes from a returning player, who only knew the old dragons from the year 2000 and was wiped yesterday in Destard
I mean I don't have any special stuff on me with super resists and no slayer books. FS and kite was pretty much the strategy needed to kill dragons back then.
Mind, that I am a mage/tamer and could use my pets to help me kill the dragons. But firstly, I have to survive a dragon first, to be able to tame it, before I can use it on another one(or have a peacer) and secondly, I want to know, how a mage would go killing dragons on his own.
1. skills: mag/eval/med (all 120 or am I good with 110)? I don't have inscription or SW cause I need those points for AT/AL/VET
2. spells: What works best on various dragons? FS? FB? MB?
When I was playing, once you could cast FS reliably, it was pretty much everything you needed to use to kill stuff.
3. Equipment. I heard of (super?) dragon slaying books. That would be a help then. But what about Armor. Can I even dream of surviving a direct melee hit or is it cast and run with as much fire resist as I can muster?
Looking forward to be educated
