HLD weap and glasses

I seem to remember a debate about how it works when you have hit lower defense on your weapon as well as use glasses with hit lower defense

If you have 50 on weap and 30 on glasses, do you in fact have 80hld or is it two seperate mod checks and a waste?

They do not stack and take two separate rolls

No problem, after both rolls with 50 and 30 it's a 65% chance to hit.
