Capped at 12, and no diminishing returns I believe.

Publish 42:
Ahhh no, capped at 18... sorry

12?
It says here: http://www.uoherald.com/guide/guide.php?guideId=57
Regeneration Effects:

Hit Point Regeneration - Increases the wearer's natural Hit Point regeneration rate. Capped at 18.
But there was some disagreement in my ventrilo. Some stated that Hit Point regen was changed somewhat recently and was under the same effect as Mana regen in regards to diminishing returns. I could find nothing on it so thought I would ask here.
Are you stating the Cap has been lowered to 12?

no cap, 20+ HP regen is gross. Its like a constant mini heal.

I do have 20 at the moment but can fit more. Wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my time and mods though if it doesn't matter past 18 ;)

No, Publish 42 put on a cap of 18 for hit point regeneration with no diminishing returns. Prior to that, there was no cap on HP regen. There have been no changes since.

You can check the publishes youself:

If you have 20 on your suit already, it's fairly easy to test to see if the publish notes are correct...

1. Put on 20 HPR
2. Run off a cliff repeatedly until you have 1 hp
3. Time how long it takes to return to full health
4. Repeat with 18 HPR and compare

Of course... the lower your maximum HP, the harder it will be to tell if it was just human error or a real difference.

HPR is the regen per second divided by ten. So HPR 20 is 2 HP regen per second, and 18 is 1.8 HP regen per second. Take an average character of about 100 hit points and run your experiment, dropping your health to 1 hit point. Using the EC client and a dress macro to dress instantly and time it to max health. For 20 HPR it should be about 50 seconds, for 18 HPR it should be about 56 seconds... hardly worth the difference in my opinion. Now, if it were 24 HPR then it would be only about 42 seconds.

Doesen`t Horrific Beast forum from Necro Regen more than ninja dog/cat?

NvM:

Horrific Beast (transformation)

Caster receives +2 hitpoints/second (equals 20 "Hit Point Regeneration").
Caster receives +25% melee/archery damage.
Caster cannot cast any spells aside from necromancer transformation spells.
Duration is permanent until death or a transformation spell is cast.
