Re: *happy happy happy* Just discovered Magincia Rubble and Custom Carpets from Ter M
Dermott: Oh I never knew runebooks were also a player's idea. As for seed crates, I haven't even heard of those - will have to look it up. (I guess to resolve issues with having too many seeds taking up gardener's lockdowns?) In any case sounds good.
You know, it might be that UO doesn't have subscription numbers like WoW does, but it sure makes up for it in the intimate and truly interactive relationship between the players and the devs! And even without that, the community is very passionate about the game. I've never felt passion for a game in the same way. Never in a million years would I think of spending as much time and effort into trying to help improve any other game. And I know I'm not the only one. There's just something about UO that gets deep into your heart.
flappy6: Thanks for the offer but I play on Europa. (unless there's something I don't know about yet... has something been created to easily transfer items from one server to another without making an actual character transfer?).
Petra: Great links!
Staining Dyes
Ooooooh so that's where those came from! (my son had a few of those in his inventory and has quit uo because he started his studies and doesn't have time anymore). Nice to know we can make our own dyes through gardening now!
Basket weaving
Hadn't heard of that either! You know I'd be quite excited about this if it weren't for the actual graphics of the baskets being a bit ugly. I love all the old school baskets, it's the newer ones that don't tickle my fancy. Their shadows are so dark somehow and they seem mismatched. Maybe I should start a new Pixel Challenge thread hehe.
Decorative Items from Champions
Ooooohh didn't know about those either! Saw a few of these amongst my sons stuff as well. Got to love the water tiles, blood wall tile and creeping vines especially!
Decorative Items from Peerless Monsters
Again, didn't know about these either.
Decorative Items from Underworld Puzzles
Oooooohhhhh...... must... get.... easel... *drool* The floured bread board and kneading bowl look so cute!
Primeval Lich Decor
Oh my goodness gracious! So many cool items!! The white dragon head is gorgeous. Would love to get that vat as well. I wonder if one's character can actually climb into it once assembled fully?
Thanks so much for these + deco links Petra! I'd have probably found them at one point or another but I'm sure it'd have taken quite a bit of time. My head is swimming with all the possibilities now

.
Ahuaeyjnkxs: Yeah the wall pieces I've bought so far have been 1-2 mill, some smaller items have been around 500K (on europa). But seeing as they will never spawn again, I think it's fair.
Mirt: Yeah I was a bit more active back when goza mats were introduced. I've actually had my castle floor covered in pitch black goza for several years now. Spent over an hour removing and trashing them all the other day hehe. Prefer the new carpeting much more. About all the neat stuff you can do with gozas, making steps etc - what's EA's take on that. Are they legal to make? I vaguely remember some issue with doing something illegal with gozas. Just can't remember what it was...
Larisa: That tower top garden is very pretty! However your customized house is even more gorgeous, so white and pure. Really well thought out!
It's the murkyness of castles that get to me. My favorite customizing material of all time are the basic whites and the sandstones. I once built a whole greek "town" using those basic white tiles. Was going to open up a holiday resort and restaurant, but alas never got around to completing it and opening up. *sighs* But how I loved making those houses... and all the plans I had... *gets wistful*
LadyNico: Aww thanks! And I'd be very happy to help alleviate you of those structural pieces on one condition: That you'd allow me to pay you the going price. Otherwise no-can-do!
Raptor85: Good to know about placing those carpet tiles, thanks! Wasn't aware of those issues, nor did I know about the ethereal trick! And actually I had pitch black gozas down in my castle for several years without ever finishing decorating. It's just been strewn with a few random boxes and junk. But all the black gozas have gone into the trash bin and now the castle is turning into something completely new with the carpets. Gotta love them! I agree though that they are a bit buggy. I also don't really like how they "mousoever" the yellow color easily when you move your cursor over them. Very irritating. Nothing else in the game mouseovers like that, so they shouldn't either.
