I am very pleased with the action the Devs & Parizad are taking. I see nothing wrong with a bit of downtime to clean up.
If you are someone who found the exploit and reported it - I would say don't sweat it - if they can tell where the money went and how the receivers spent it... I'm sure they can tell how often you did the exploit, if you reported it, and if you went on a shopping spree after finding out.

The developers are trying there hardest to get the game up and running for most it's late at night. There only human and are trying there hardest and some people make a mistake and what they said may sound in a rude tone, but they deserve some credit for there hard work.

I know I'm new to these forums, but this is my third time around to this game, so I hope nobody gets upset that I am stating my own opinion....
Ok, we're all cranky and that's mainly because we love this game. But let's look at it this way, the game we love was going down the toilet before it turned into Ea-land. Would we rather them not do all this work and killed TSO completely? Exploits happen, folks! Discovering them and taking care of them is what will keep this game going. Yes, we're cranky but we have to remember the people who are working hard to keep the game we love alive for us.
Of course if the game isn't up by "sometime in 2008", as Parizad has stated, I will withdrawl my opinion and you can grab the torches and pitchforks.

Is it possible to create I am a stupid avatar symbol that we could attach to all their avatars for causing us all this pain? Perhaps strip their avatars of clothes and make them go naked? I did reread the post and being i am new to stratics and if I was going thru withdrawls I do see how it could possibly be taken in offense I personaly did not find anything wrong with it but I do see how it could have been, expecially with emotions running high but i do agree with parz if your that emotional about it and it makes you want to quit then maybe the best place for you is not sitting there continuing to read the computer does have a power switch for a reason!

Why is everyone suddenly mad at Parizad? As I understand it, she's staying up late and working hard to fix OUR problems. Have you ever played a game where the techs were willing to stay up half the night to fix a problem rather than say "Oh, well, they can wait"?
I'm deeply impressed by the people at TSO's commitement to helping the players, and the fact that we are being updated so frequently is highly commendable. Thank you so much everyone staying up to fix this bug! Many less concerned tech teams would've given up at quitting time, but you guys deserve a round of applause from us.
