I'm based on Great Lakes, where I've always played, but since returning I've been wondering about the Atlantic shard. What's the deal with it? Why's it so popular?
My play style has always been RP, PvM, PvP, collecting, everything-- in the old days, RPers were a bit thicker-skinned and did it all. I'm hoping there's still some like-minded communities based on Great Lakes, because I really don't want to move, and I prefer not to multishard.
I have always played on Great Lakes (1997-2003; 06, 08, present). I'm familiar with its history, was a council member of one of its biggest, longest-lived guilds (RIP, The Nobility), was a regular patron of Kazola's Treetop Keg and Winery, The Cap and Dagger, and so on.
