lol then the answer is NOI voted yes, but I wouldn't say it was motion sickness as such. It just really hurts my eyes after a short while playing.
Hello there! The bodies dont look attached to the ground to me.
The odd movement makes me actually frustrated mentally. No quite sick but visually stressed.
A new thread saves spares the original thread a continuation of the segue off topic.the thread about scripter not being banned post no 22 aobut motion sickness is interesting reading, but i guess the OP knows this and decided to create a thread about it

There have always been complaints about the KR client and EC making people sick, so I just wanted to see what % of people are affected.the thread about scripter not being banned post no 22 aobut motion sickness is interesting reading, but i guess the OP knows this and decided to create a thread about it

What might be interesting is how many people who play now get affected in any way, i remember when i first trie dit i hated it, scale was all wrong etc was laggy not smooth and made me hate it, now it is much improved, though by Pinco's interface not EZ and hopefully that will be addressed toThere have always been complaints about the KR client and EC making people sick, so I just wanted to see what % of people are affected.
thats me screwed then........................I heard that several highly detailed studies have proved a link between the EC and overall levels of violence in real life, linking many violent acts to those who use the EC.
I also read another report that longterm exposure to the EC causes cancer.
Totally legit.
Thanks Assia for posting that. I haven't tried the EC yet, but Portal and WOW and a few other games like Myst Uru have made me so sick I've had to lay down for an hour, after only 10 minutes of trying to play. I now know to watch out for that when I try the EC, which I keep meaning to do. Much appreciated! Motion sickness sucks. And it's not a headache or eye strain. It's actual motion sickness, just like being on a boat. I've been on lots of boats and gaming actually makes me a little more motion sick than some boats haveOh, an' I have gotten motion sickness playing portal, WoW and the latest game to do it is Flower... so it isn't just the EC.
Yeah, Limbo is surprisingly visually stunning for an Xbox Live Arcade game. It's like a noire Braid. You should actually play the game from the first image. The screenshot is a bit misleading and only certain aspects of it are actually blurry (particularly things like foliage and grass). It is a beautiful game aesthetically...
Very welcome. One thing that has helped me with the nausea are acupressure bands on my wrists. We originally bought them for my nausea during migraines, but I've found they seem to help with video game motion sickness as well. Mine are from Sea-Band and cost less than $10, but I'm sure there are other brands out there. Might help as well... after all us gamers can't let nausea keep us down! Thanks Assia for posting that. You think the EC Client looks fuzzy!? Hah! That's hilarious. The 2D client is the fuzzy wuzziest client of all them.Even if that wasn't enough the EC just looks fuzzy to me. I have tried playing with settings but it still looks fuzzy.
Yeah try doing Corgal with about 15 mages. It's impossible....
I voted no, although there is one caveat to this.
Repeated use of the Earthquake spell will do it (and it used to be MUCH worse). Standard gameplay is fine though.
No, I do not.
... because I know better than to use it.
