[Selling] Do people buy high end pets on Siege

Hi as the title states, is anyone interested in wanting to buy a high end fresh tamed pet (G. Dragon or ?), I would tame it for you, not sure what it would sell for.

If you want a specific number (example 4.5) actually it would be more like 4.0 to 4.5 please allow such time to farm up that kind of number please. And yes a high number means serious negotiations of price.

If anyone is interested or has an idea about pet prices, post here :p
Thanks to all who read/respond :)

You may want to check some of the Pet Stall vendors in Magincia to see what Trained Pets go for. That could give you an idea of what is profitable.

HI, thanks Leaf for the suggestion :)

I did think about going with the new mag pet stalls, but those cost money if nothing sells. And the prices I'm not to sure about since this is siege and well, to high price and nothing sells, to low of prices and pets could also not sell, all of which cost vendor fees. There is a low player base here and once a person has the pet they like and it bonds there really isn't a need for a new pet, well that's my thinking.
If anyone would like to elaborate, your welcome to it :) A positive attitude is what I like to always have, but being realistic is what makes the UO gold, I don't want to spend money trying to sell what people don't need.

Please enlighten me if I'm wrong on my point of view and trying to see what high end pets people want/need/like
Thank you :)

Hi Igg A Pie thanks for the job offer on the GD :)

Question I have is as for stats would it matter what they are as long as the pet comes in at a rating of 4.7

Just to let you know the program that I use to see the rating is Pinco's program for enhanced client. Also are you in a big hurry, farming a pet with that high of a number rating could take few weeks or more.

Thanks :)

tbh I didn't even realize there could be a difference in the stats. I usually don't play a tamer so this is kinda unfimilar territory for me. I think if it was better than a 4.7 thats all that would matter. I hate to get a 4.5 then a 4.8 comes along, then id have to retrain and blah blah blah. go big or go home right? lol. I guess the biggest question is whats the difference from the pet calculator and pinco's program? I don't think it matters which one you use. I am lookn for an "exceptionally" high rating one. and I realize this might take awhile, maybe 6 months or more, that's ok I have the time. honestlyyou checkn one time a week is more effort that is going into my "dragon search" than I am putn in now. and sadly that includes check the new mag stalls. lol

at 4.7 there isnt much difference in stats. no clue why she/he/it asked that. pincos rates trained skills higher in its formula than pet calculator.
The bo has sold/given away alot of high quality pets. And iggy if you got one from the bo than all you need to do is train it up, and when fully trained hit it with pincos and see it will be over a 4.3 and as high as 4.6. Bo was giving away fantastic pets there for awhile.
Their is always a market for pets, your best bet is sell more at cheaper prices.

Hi everyone thanks for the reply's :) Glad to hear Bo Bo has a pet for you.

I as in she, has the answer to the question of why I wanted to know what you wanted for stats, the link below will help answer that.

http://stratics.com/community/threads/fresh-tamed.317524/

(hope that linked worked, new to doing them here)

here is the reply's in that link in case it didn't work:
Resists can not be changed. Stats can be trained up to 125, if they're above that when first tamed, that's as high as they'll go.
Skills can be trained up to 100. Special circumstances apply to some more recent pets which have skills in excess of 100.

The pet calc has a sample template of what the supossidly perfect pet is, that you can compare to, so when taming a certain animal, you know what to look for in all hit points, resists, and skills. A combination of the 3 is very important. I look for the highest combination of the 3 I can find. For instance, i can maybe find a greater dragon, that has 1900 hp untamed. I know when tamed, his hp is gonna be 950. now, if his resists are all in the 50's and 60's I know even fully trained, he is not going to have good survivability in a fight with say 2 wild greater dragons or higher level monsters and mobs. I just simply cant heal him fast enough to keep him alive because of the low resists that will never raise. Any pet I am taming to hunt with, that is not at least in the high 3's on the pet calc, I usually bypass or turn into hides for my crafter, with a few exceptions. I did keep a greater dragon that has unusually high cold resist just for doing the ice dungeon, so u actually can grab a pet that has resists suited for what you are hunting.

I've never seen one higher than 4.3 and I've looked for good ones for months so the best of luck with that, I would think a 4.7 would be worth a fortune

I have seen a 4.6 like I said this is a side project as far as I am concerned and if I get one then I feel like I am doing good. so I have every intention to hire out her services if she is willing to look. it does not matter to me how long it takes
