Well apparently enough people were salty enough about the dungeon being "too easy" that the Devs have done a ninja fix. The spawn rate / drops have slowed WAYYYY down.

I'm not saying the initial rate right (I personally did not mind it lol) but the current drop rate (ie from the spawn/lag etc) is terrible. In every other dynamic treasure event I'd be able to get at least 40-50 drops per hour with my sampire... same sampire in Destard just now was able to pull 14. Too many things are spawning in the same 2 spots which are impossible to get to with a sampire without lagging out.... rest of the dungeon is relatively empty.
The only difference I notice is that there are no more crimson drakes near where the piles are.

They are on LS.

It actually was. We were very busy. Ressing players in between casting. Getting the random paras that someone brought up. Bout the same play as a peerless.
I apologize I was reading their post thinking they were talking about playing on ATL.

They should have left on Origin longer they should have seen the sea of lag and made adjustments until it was better THEN put on production shards...
I agree. From what I can tell the lag is basically just from the amount of people in the same location and the number of spell effect graphics being shown. There are non-stop Reapers / wildfire / lightning strikes / thunderstorm / wither effects going on simultaneously every second. That said, Origin which did have the same lag issues on first day of release is running fine now that everyone has migrated to ATL :hahaha: :sad2:

No they just are not making the glob of mobs begin. Until they group up, everything is spread out. LS was like that until someone in chat told us to get in a group. Then the glob began.

Ppl gonna be mad if you get the glob taken away. How are you not getting drops? Not casting?

We call it the grinder.

Still the drop rate did go down. I did not participate in the grinder the first few days because the lag made my game crash.

Now it's fine, but now the drop rate...at least for me...has gone down. I do not use potions.

They call it something else on LS. I can not remember what. I have no idea how they made it appear. I was running around killing the individual stuff, getting no drops, and decided to go check it out last night and it was there.

There seems to be a bit more spawn in that area where the hole is in the rock wall just west of the entrance. If you get a few people and start luring a few mobs tha way it seems to jump start the spawn...seems the more you kill, the more start spawning sort of like a champ spawn.

I think there is an instant respawn at that point for each mob that spawns there… some of them just end up lured or wandering into other parts of the dungeon. If you’re killing there and there isn’t much spawn, you need to find and kill the mobs so they respawn. Conversely, you can select which mob you don’t like and lure it away and it won’t respawn as long as no one else kills it (great for luring away the dismounting treefellows).

On Atl it was all but impossible for me to get drops yesterday, which I figured was due to the sheer number of people. On LS last night, with a few glorious fortune potions, I ended up getting 300-some drops - started the day with 96 (grabbed the quiver before logging on the first day of LS farming) & ended it with 429.

Well according to Kyronix, they did not change the drop rate, but they did change the spawn areas.

his explanation as to why there is literally no spawn anywhere but the entrance....why they can't fix that is a mystery.

There's nothing in front of the entrance on Chessy. The pile moved further west and the drop rates are better than ever as far as I could tell.

They moved a little more into the middle of the main area but not much.

Just ran through the middle...

Every spawn was a drake, dragon, Greater Dragon or wyvern EXCEPT for one lone paragon treefellow...

I guess the Fey are afraid to go too far into the depths of the dungeon lol.

They moved a little more into the middle of the main area but not much.
The spawn area and the water ele areas always looked like that. 1 person could run the route and after 1 run there would be just 2 or 3 things to kill. The 2nd and 3rd floor ramps have spawn.

Yeah but they said spawn regions have been updated......it looks like they just took a lot of it away lol...throw some fey spawn in the middle, a few in the back....well a few more!

I am just wondering why they can't temporarily add a few more spawn points inside the dungeon.

Pile. That's what they call it on LS. Sounds like they can't change the spawn dynamics. Prices for some things are too high anyway.

I could have swore we were getting one going in that back cave when I ran in. You were there. I thought that was a good pile spot.
I agree, just hadn't taken off like the previous ones, so not sure if it is as feasible.

So is the 'pile' gone based on the changes, or just moved to a new spot, or just not active because of the time of day? Atl has people lined down the hallway to the 2nd level, but no one dedicated spot. Zilch on other shards.

This is exactly what I'm talking about... everywhere besides that NW corner near the second floor entrance is practically empty.

That seems broken to me.

Then it was "broken" on release. Kyronix just told you he can not make other areas spawn more mobs because of whatever reason.

Playing the dungeon without the pile nets me about 3 to 5 drops per hour, Just like the others did. 9 to 12 with luck.

Level 2 has a nice evenly spread spawn and is pretty much where all the fun lives (at least on ATL anyway). You'll die a bit more, but it's way more enjoyable than sitting in the lag pile spamming like a robot. Just mind the paragons lurking by the door left by those fleeing for their lives (although personally that's where I've been hanging out with my mystic bard).

Drop rate is probably not as good? No idea to be honest - been having too much fun to care.

Yup the ramps are fun. You can get lvl 3 too crowded with paragons but that's the game.

Yep....now it's horrible the opposite direction lol. I was happy that I finally got a spellweaving 3 so I could help with the grinder and now there's no spawn! :/

You can make mini piles by the ramps but players need to bring stuff to it so they respawn there.

But ppl end up leaving and it fizzles.

We treid that on Origin exactly there... it kinda started, but the spawn was soooo slow that it would fizzle by itself... pathetic! ant it was just 4 ppl... standing there , and nothing to kill... (even with all of us running around to be agroed and lure the whole cave, it simply wouldn't gold.. definitely not fun.. with 2 potions I got 5 drops in 2 hours, FFS!

Well thank @Keven2002 for telling the devs to look at Atlantic.

The dungeon is just like it was If the pile was never started. The only place mobs spawned was by the ramps.

Basically yall have to get the 4 of you organized and just kill by the ramps, go up and down as a team, and hope you can kill the paragon shadows. There are no GD there unless dragged.

We were doing EXACTLY that... 4 of us knowing to stay together by the ramp... ... 2 minuts later, no monsters.. we moved instinctively together.. next tiny cluster of monsters.. 1 min later gone, nothing spawning.. move, kill 7 things in 30 secs.. empty... it was a snooze-fest... even luring the paragons in, to do something, even if it was just dying... .. they should've left small shards alone as it begun
