One of the problems with Deathstrike is that people can have 10 dex and 150 mana and chain Deathstrikes at 1.25 secs interval.

It only takes 35 SSI which is achievable by anyone and a 2 sec speed weapon to swing every 1.25 sec.

Why not change the damage done by Death strike to scale towards the "base damage" of the weapon. If you decide to use a slower 2 handed weapon you rightfully get the 50 damage death strikes... but if you want to use a eg a one handed kryss you do less damage.

They already have 50% reduced damage by range so you are suggesting that they should have to use orante axes to compete?

If they have a template like you're mentioning with no dex, then odds are they don't have healing, and if they do it's and 8 second bandage.

This keeps going back to the same point. If they hit you with that many deathstrikes with a 2s wep, it would be hitting for almost half of what it normally does, and the death strike wouldn't hit until they put a pause of 3 seconds in their deathstrike assuming you're standing still. So why not let them waste their mana 18 at a time dealing next to no damage because you're not an amature and didn't freak out and run at the first sound of a deathstrike?

I have tested it and it's way way over powered to the point I have decided to make a temp with 150 mana a 1.3 sec DP kyriss and 35 ssi blood drinking battle lust 20% splintering fork with smoke bombs and bush and 0 healing just pots.
You know how easy it is to disarm, deathstrike, dp, deathstrike, disarm, AI death?... O and don't forget that great 20% splintering fork now.. I run this entire gimp template with 5 macro's & it took me one day to build it on a shard other then test.

I was wrong don't nerf it, keep it stupid I will play this ****** temp till the game dies.

Good luck against the wrestling mage or who can also disarm and poison, switch to mage weapon for ai death. Difficult to hide when poisoned. You should just learn how to defend yourself. Every template has weaknesses. Stop complaining and learn some skill.

That makes no SENSE none, at all.. It's called petals, or potion, and if the mage is dp'd disarmed AI'd and deathstriked he will die.
Ohh and guess what you can still hit a smoke bomb and stay hidden with a smoke bomb.
AND mages don't AI with a mage weapon & your telling me to learn some skill? This is the crap im talking about, I try to make a legit post about the problem of deathstrikes being spammed for more damage then anything in the game with 0 timer and it get flooded with posts like that & now I know why nothing ever gets fixed.

they can ai when they have 790+ skill points to throw in archey and some tactics. IF the mage does not run he will not take that much damage from the death strike. It is not that easy to meelee someone with 120 wrestling, he can disarm you just as easy and mana vamp you to the point you are useless then if you decide to stick around he will own you.

Petals stop at level 3 poison so he's suggesting using a dp or better. Pots have a high fail rate currently.

Because you're acting like it's such a good template. You can't heal and you probably have zero resist, that is a terrible combo. It doesn't matter if you have a splintering wep and dp. Like he said before a wrestle parry mage for example would kill that with ease. I'd fight that in the arena on probably any mage. I'd be more concerned about you running away than your dp, splintering wep, ect.

Running away and smoke bombing is the issue. They can instantly hide regen mana and come back over and over and over and over and over until the RNG favors them and they come out on top

Then leave and fight somewhere else. its not hard to evade a stealthed person walking around on foot. Or better yet, have reveal hotkeyed so you can cast it the moment they hit smokebomb.

Learn pvp before you talk about it. If you see no issue with smokebombs in pvp the way they are then you probably ran a bestial suit stealther lol. Once again logic evades you, I'm done with you in this thread as well. Players like you are the reason we dont have 250k people playing anymore

Oh of course, your idea of pvp must be to stand in the middle of an open field and wait for a stealther to gank you. and if they smokebomb and run you stand there and wait until they come back till they get lucky rng procs. You like challenge and this is your idea of one gotcha.

Thats nice, i'm not the one who is having problems running away from a stealther on foot here. Shame how as an advocate of challenge you can't take suggestions and instead try to fix issues you are having by suggesting nerfs instead of finding ways around the issue.
