I accidently posted this is a Bug tracking thread but it should be here actually.

Can someone please tell me where the "Dark Nights" toggle is on the EC?

I appreciate the quick reply, however I can be pretty dense in my old age..
Can you please tell me exactly where that setting would be? Is it under Pinco's UI somewhere? I'm not seeing it in the graphics options..

if you want I can place an half transparent black texture over the game area so everything will be darker, or you can lower the monitor light or use a black marking pen on it

OMG that's too funny..... but seriously Dark Nights is nice if you want to check the lighting in your house.

Lame answers... if you want dark nights in UO, just close your eyes while you play!

That would be cool if it was set on a toggle..
Sorry if I play different than others.. but walking through a dungeon with a lantern is still fun for me..
In fact laying 4 lanterns down and walking into the darkness to find a mob and lure it back to your lighted area is a blast.

And yeah my house does look cool...

You're not alone, Ludes. I like to use the Dark Nights setting in the CC too, carry lanterns and torches, and rearrange all the lighting in the house so it looks cool at night. And yeah it is fun to wander through a dungeon using lanterns to light your way.

We used to have these neat little hunt nights where we would go to Shame.. everyone would be "dark nights" with no nightsight..
We'd slowly get lanterns spread out over Shame lvl1

The little area where the earth elementals set up a crude alchemist lab was sooo hard..
It was a lot of fun.
