This has been happening to me also. It hasn't stopped. I get a warning of High CPU usage and it's usually just about 100% until I actually am logged in to UO.Whe UO 2d client is not logged in (at login screen/shard selection/char creation windows) it takes 100% of CPU.
This is a feature, there was a patch that noted that you can no longer enhance something with bloodwood to increase the HPR over 2 if HPR already exists on the piece.enhanced a shield i got from shame that had HPR 3 on it with bloodwood, it should have put it at HPR 5, it didnt, it put it DOWN to HPR 2.
grrrrrrrrrrr
Wraith form is also bugged this way2) Stone form:
In stone form you should be immune to bleed attack (at 120 mystic and 120 focus/imbuing), but seems that certain monsters can let you bleed.
I tried in pvp and the immunity seems working fine.
I tried against lady lissith (the spider in the twisted weald) and she can always let me bleed.
Lich tooWraith form is also bugged this way
I thought i'd clarify this bug. When stood on an uneven surface and you try to cast a spell that is area of effect. I.E arch cure, mass sleep, hail storm etc, and you use target self, you will receive a message saying:In some areas or some specific tiles if your using the target self macro a message appears saying target cannot be seen.
Something that I have found that will make this happen constantly is running with the zoom function all the way out or close to it. If you zoom in a bit, it will rarely happen. Play with it a little, and you will find the "sweet spot" zoom value that still gives you visibility but stops the crashing. There's a bug in the Enhanced Client (EC): it's not stable.
How to reproduce it:
Whenever I run (or gallop) on a mount, the EC will crash ungracefully within a minute of sustained running, i.e. the application just closes. Sometimes, it just takes a few seconds of running.
The higher my latency, the higher the chance of the client crashing.
I discovered this too a couple weeks ago when redesigning my shoppe. Was kinda irritating. I just did the whole roof in 2d.You can't switch between 2d and the EC and properly do a roof. Seems that if you do a roof in 2d then go into the EC and try to deco it sometimes REMOVES some of the tiles that were set in 2d. Such as the entire bottom level 1 row...
I found this in many taverns on multiple shards![]()
.. is actually an empty pitcher, this did mislead 2 different newbies now.
found in the tavern south of west britain bank on drachenfels. but probably not a unique case.
Most of the bugs listed here have not been fixed, it would be a shame to lose them. This thread is getting long in the tooth. I think it is time for a new bugs thread for the latest publish.
Bugs listed here *never* get fixed, so it's a moot point. Most of the bugs listed here have not been fixed, it would be a shame to lose them. This thread is getting long in the tooth. I think it is time for a new bugs thread for the latest publish.
The better would be a bug sub-forum where each thread is 1 bug so if the devs need to ask info (or someone want to post more details) it can be done. This thread is getting long in the tooth. I think it is time for a new bugs thread for the latest publish.
I think that's unfair, the magic reflect bug was fixed.Bugs listed here *never* get fixed, so it's a moot point.
Yeah unfortunately there's no way of prioritising the important pvp related bugs that I submit over the trammel stocking fillers. The better would be a bug sub-forum where each thread is 1 bug so if the devs need to ask info (or someone want to post more details) it can be done.
Actually a thread like this is too complex to read so will became useless and ignored![]()
Mhhhh it seems logical that you don't fail to add resists through enhancement since a shield typically doesn't have more than 1 point, but are you sure you can't fail to enhance a shield which already has significant resists (Shame or reforged can have +15 or even +20) or one which already has Luck with more Luck from material (Gold or Bloodwood)? You will never fail to enhance a shield with a special material even without a forged metal of artifacts
