This dastardly villian named Rue Tor left two evil weapons of unkindness at the Mongbat Ranch!! Mongbat Killer Talismans! This action requires punishment! Im offering 200k to the first person to reply with a screenshot of his death to this thread! We will not condone mongbat hatred!

Indeed… It was I…

(Ponders on killing myself by a shrine engaged in hand-to-hand combat with one of furry, flightless creatures to collect the reward… but that may prompt a more intense discussion on trying to find and pay the Mongbat rather than the poster)

I thought you may enjoy holding on to these powerful Talismans that I have discovered in my journeys. If anything, they would not be available to the general population to make Mongbat hunting too easy of a task. Deep down… You must admit… the Talismans are very intoxicating.

But is seems I have drawn your wrath…. If I find others, I will put them up for auction.

I destroyed the foul weapons so they wouldnt fall into the wrong hands! Weapons like those should never grace the lands of britannia!

I have survived the night….

After hearing word of the destruction of unique Talismans provided as gifts and thinking about the very paltry bounty place on my head by a merchant of such wealth and power (more than likely corrupted by the Underworld minions), I have decided to equip another Talisman and venture out into the heart of the Mongbat’s lair.

It did not take long to spot one of the flea infested creatures guarding the estate. Normally these vermin are very swift and nimble, but this one was on a narrow staircase that restricted the creature’s mobility. It was a fierce battle. In the end, the creature last gasps echoed in the Merchant’s own domain.

Since I dispatched one of the Merchant’s pets and had nothing to lose at this point, I ventured into the house to examine the limp body. Using a dagger, I relieved the creature some gold (probably obtained from the Merchant or in one of its raids on an innocent citizen of Britannia) and a few ribs.

Thinking once again back to the insulting low bounty…. I decided to leave the now rotting Mongbat ribs in the same location that I left the Mongbat Talismans. As it may take a while for the Merchant to notice the missing pet, the ribs may trigger a roll call of the winged monkeys.

*Looks around room to make sure it is safe before entering... Moves to the table near the side exit and takes the seat with his back to the wall... Pulls out dusty personal log, quill, and small jar of ink filled with Mongbat blood and starts writing…*

Well. I have survived the night once again. It would appear that the Merchant has discovered the remains of her missing pet based on my recent experiences.

Earlier in the morning, I was able to channel my energies and tap into the thoughts of others in the realm. I have done this in the past on occasion and have almost gone mad with the voices in my head.

This time the conversation perked my interest. I was only able to recall a brief portion of the entire conversation, but than a few citizens were talking about killing Mongbats, as well as, something called a Greater Mongbat (no doubt a product from the Merchant herself). I was also able to pick-up the Merchant’s thoughts as she could be heard defending the foul creatures.

Rather than just let the conversations roll in and out of my mind, my unconscious mind betrayed me and transmitted my thought into the public view (most likely disgusted with recent memories and encounters with the winged rodents).

It was only four words that escaped, but those words seemed to strike a nerve in the Merchant’s very soul. Alas, it would appear that my death is worth a little more to her now.

I am sure most of the known murderers are aware of the bounty, but it is my guess that the small increase would not be enough to sway an upstanding citizen to break the law or at least not yet…

Even more disturbing, she seemed to rejoice in her Mongbats continued raids upon the general population (may Garfield rest in peace).

I must keep my wits about me and find a stronger Talisman to protect myself against this…. Greater Mongbat threat.

Ahh… this Merchant is truly an evil one… She probably has ties in the Underworld equaling the ties in the normal Britannia…

After a brief transaction with my local Umbra minter to deposit items and gold from my latest adventures, I recalled a little uneasiness in the minter’s body language. The hands of the minter were shaking ever so slightly and a nervous twitch flickered under the right eye on the minter. Once within the secured area of the mint, the minter tried to place more distance between the two of us but the moves were more hurried than smooth.

I concluded my business as quickly as possible and bid the minter farewell as not to place the poor soul under any further duress. Upon my departure, I noticed a piece parchment on the face of the mint. To my surprise, the parchment contained a picture with an updated bounty notice. I am not sure how the Merchant obtained the dapper image of me, but her tentacles must reach far into the general population.

Knowing that I cannot compete with the tainted Merchant on the gold front to remove the bounty from my head, I made a mental note to myself that I must amplify my efforts to rid the land of her little pets.

Alas, Czarnia, ye have my deepest sympathies.
Now ye know how KSS felt when talismen of Silver Serpent Slaying started appearing in the land! Such treachery! Such twisted minds, to conceive of weapons such as these! Tis true, the gods of this land are not kind or compassionate, but rather driven by petty spite, and large barrels of mead!

Whatever next, scrolls of boot-rot? *shudders*
