What some don't seem to realize is if a pet fails a command, it is more likely to fail the next one because of the loyalty loss and it takes a while to regain that loyalty with successful commands if you don't feed it. It isn't too difficult to get in a situation where you've had two or three failed commands close together, and suddenly you're failing most of your commands.
Play with your sound on, know what the failed command pet noises are, and feed them as soon as possible when they fail a command, and immediately if they fail more than one or two close together, or simply stop commanding them until you are in a position to feed them. I see a lot of veteran tamers even that don't do this, so it doesn't surprise me much when I hear about pets going wild.
Having said that, if you are doing all those good things, maybe there is a bug, and thanks for the heads up.
