All I have to say is that for all of you crying about how powerful the Beastial Suit is... unless you can tell me EXACTLY now it functions then you really cannot say...
I've done a fair amount of testing which I may post later, but I'm going to make a guess & say that....
TALON STRIKE might be the way to go... If TALON STRIKE still deals like 20-30 hit points of dmg AS NEGATIVE HP REGEN then I'm reasonably certain the beast suit cannot block that. Simply half life them / Talon Strike them / deal a few more pts of dmg the hard way....
Anyway..... Just 1 of the methods that occurred to me in a few minutes of thought. Also... the Berserk effect only begins at 50% life.... so if your a mage at least... Work them to near but above 50% then dump to kill. The effect takes a sec to kick in from what I observed...
I know exactly how it works and things to do to try to work around it (i'd like to test talon strike tho)
That being said... ****ing seriously? your solution is this one special on what.. one weapon in the game? please... the suit absorbs wayy to much damage at lower levels. it kicks off at 50% life, so typically it will kick off for most people if they are smart at 70-75 hit points. Thats alot of damage to quick dump for someone (timed perfectly i might add). Then mix in the fact that a dexer won't be able to do anything - its pointless.
The thing about the suit is, ur right, there is a slight work around against an opponent that doesn't know how to use it or isn't using it right. Mix it into any smoke bombing template or any type of running straight offense char (think Deathstrike/nerve strike/dp) then it is ridiculous.
I was dueling someone in the arena using it on a mage, and i had them redlined for almost the entire time and couldn't get them down. I'd flamestrike them several times, and even when i did get tons of big damage off, they were able to mix in a couple g-heals for like what.. 7 dmg? and it was enough to counter the flamestrikes. i ran out of mana and ended up dieing solely because i could not drop the guy and mana dumped myself enough too many times to keep going. hell in a duel, sure, its a nice theory to get them to half life then go big.. but its not that easy in practice.
The suit quite frankly is bad for pvp and ruins it just a little bit more. i've tested the hell out of it because i love using overpowered stuff, but this one is just stupid.
