Best contributor to the community: Mr Tact. Thanks for the blessings!
Biggest jerk: Fidessa. No, that is not an invitation to more drama, but you could take a leaf out of Freja's book and start sending some apologies.
Funniest: Wulf, Castor, Otto, Miranda, Skylark
Worst complainer: Everyone who is now tanning themselves on 'that' island. Come back, you traitors!!!!
Best event: Tie - Girl's night out, and the Blaze Event
Best dressed: Can I vote for myself? No? Ok, Skylark, then!
Worst dressed: Tommy Hilfiger
Most reliable: Otto. But I'm biased.
Most annoying:Crunch. I watched him spend the best part of an hour trying to poison dread spiders early last year. I was torn between staying hidden, and wanting to yell "they're immune to poison, you idiot!!!"
Best poster: Leurocian, who is missed.
Most incoherent poster: All the people on my ignore list. I can't understand a word they're saying!
Best death robe collector: Yep, that's Otto. Hands down. But he does insist on mining in ancient wyrm lairs and similar places!
Best house designer: I loved Miranda's 2nd last one near Brit, and her desert home's great too!
Most successful PK: Only two true PKs have actually caught me this year. I don't count gimpy gank squads. So, that would be Memnoch and Matsumek.
Guild most likely to 'win UO': REV in 2005, KSS in 2006? *looks hopeful*

Best role player (individual): I can't remember his name, but the Scotsman I sold my old shop to.

Most gracious loser:I think the Wakayamas - I've seen more than one post thanking others for a great fight - no mention of who won or lost, just 'thanks'.

Best event: In general, the Halloween shard. On Siege, Girl's Night Out.
Best dressed: I'm not in a position to comment on this. Which probably means it's not me.
Worst dressed: I'm not in a position to comment on this, either. Which probably means it's me.
Most reliable: Wilki. Dola. Miranda. Shalimar. Memnoch. (yes, really) and... how many screens am I allowed to fill with this? Thanks to all - and I'm not deliberately leaving names out, it's just 1:30AM, and I've been asked to make DPd shurikens.
Most annoying: Newcomers who keep asking me how to get to Haven. Scribes who ask me to make DP'd shurikens at 1AM, just because they notice I've woken up to go and get a drink. *mutters*
Best poster: Tied between Wulf and Skylark.
Most incoherent poster: Chard, no question about it.
Best death robe collector: Probably me. I've even accidentally collected other people's death robes on occasion.
Best house designer: I like the crafting center in Brit. Too bad it's not finished, and is pretty useless as it stands. Some of the Waka houses are nice. Did we ever have a winner for Kelmo's Christmas Decor thingy?
Most successful PK: I think I'll go with Wyrm on this one.
Least successful PK: Calm, after witnessing him run straight past the (not hidden) people he was chasing, and keep going for about 10 screens. (at least, that's what my seeing-eye bug tells me)

Best idea for Siege: Yasou Wakayama, drawing people from everywhere for the Yama event.
Best use of obsolete skills: Nightingale of CWS and the others who suddenly took up herding out of nowhere.
Stupidest idea:The guy I found unattended script mining in Cove, using gargoyle picks on the valorite spot.
Best theft of the year: I don't know, but I'm hoping our thief community will enlighten us?
Most spectacular failure of the year:Ideas? I'm mainly thinking PvP here, but could be anything!
Weirdest place to mine in:Inside Saliva the harpy's tree, in the blighted grove.


Also... what new year's resolutions do people have for 2006?

Me:

Assume nothing.
Think about everything.
Avoid board drama. (so far, so good, but it's only the 2nd of January!)
When angry, walk away from the keyboard.(tried and tested - stick with a good thing!)
Badger the devs until they let me craft property-free dark glasses for blind people.
Avoid hospitals as much as possible!
Learn how to PvP at least a little bit. *swings hammer around blindly*
Have fun, and help as many people as possible in the progress!

I prefer to think of this as one of many regular self-inflicted reviews of my own progress, at which point I can adjust things if neccesary, and continue the path towards being an ever-better person. At least, that's the goal.

Now, what's all this about me needing to get in shape? I outran several PKs yesterday, and would have done better if someone would stop planting all those blasted trees all over the place! *rubs nose*
