I have been fairly excited after reading about the bard mastery changes that were incoming. Now that they are here, I have to say that I've got a few complaints.
First of all, I laughed at the people on the UHall boards who were fussing about how 'lame' the quests were. After spending well over an HOUR last night trying to find 5 rabbits and 5 DIFFERENT wandering healers, I have to say I'm sorry to all those UHallers I silently mocked.
That has got to be the most ridiculous exercise in futility I have ever encountered. Luckily, one of my Officers found a place where a rabbit would respawn over and over, and eventually we found enough wandering healers around so that I could finish the quest, but oh-- how painful.
I sort of felt like, if I had to have this certain high level of skill in order to 'master' my art, perhaps I could do something a little more challenging than provoke rabbits onto wandering healers...
The songs themselves are mana sucks, of course-- but I'm excited to try them in battle.
Thoughts?
