As often as you have to heal I have it up all the time but sometimes that doesn't prevent me from mashing the bandage macro intentionally or otherwise.Just look at your buff bar. If you see the healing icon there, then don't apply your bandage. ezpzlmnsqz
So the timer will need to be fixed, and once it is, a toggled setting can give a healer what's preferred: "Don't apply bandage until last one is finished."As described this would do little other than greatly to increase the power of Mortal Strike (and Bleed, now that I think about it).
When one is hit with Mortal Strike in the middle of a bandage being applied, the timer keeps going, and going, and going, until the Mortal Strike is removed. Even once the Mortal Strike is removed, the timer will continue uselessly, until you reset it by....Reapplying a bandage.
I've also seen lately that, sometimes, Bleed works similarly. When you apply a bandage, then are Bled, it used to be that the bandage you'd already applied consistently would be the one that'd remove the Bleed. Of late, though, that only works sometimes. The rest of them time you need to reset the bandage by reapplying it. Or else you'll keep bleeding until the timer runs out, or until you die.
So if one wishes to increase greatly the power of Mortal Strike and Bleed? This'd be a great way to do it.
I'm sorry, I just had too... Every time a discussion starts about Bandages I think of this.
But in all honestly I don't see why you should be able to apply a new bandage before the previous finishes.
Uh, clearly the bandage timer would end when mortal was applied. As described this would do little other than greatly to increase the power of Mortal Strike (and Bleed, now that I think about it).

Not a bad thought, i would always just tap the trapped box macro and apply a heal when i hit full life.I sometimes intentionally reapply bandages before the heal hits. With good timing in a fight, this can be done after drinking a greater strength pot to manually control the exact time your bandage heals for maximum damage negation.
Example: Caster curses you, you eat an apple, you hit bandage macro 2 or 3 times (watching his spell play) to delay the heal so it hits the second after his explo/fs combo does u damage and not before. You can even time it so u heal before he can get off a poison.
I'm sure most don't do this but just saying....
What?Seems like this would be overpowering to dexxers. Was it intended to allow a second bandage timer before the prior bandage has completed? Wouldn't it seem overpowered if all a dexy had to do was to spam his or her bandage macro?
You already, then, have modified your original proposal.Uh, clearly the bandage timer would end when mortal was applied.
This would revolve around existing game mechanics. What you were posting would have been a bug.You ayou then, have modified your original proposal.
*shrugs*

If we followed this logic, nothing would ever be changed or implemented.Let's not go asking the devs to take another currently working game mechanic and fix it until it's broken.![]()
