[Fishing] ASOS vs Treasure Maps - Were is the breaking point?

I was wondering if anyone has did some light or intense testings to see what level Treasure Map would produce similar value loot as an Ancient SOS. Amusing the same Luck Suit was used for both.

From my understanding LUCK has zero affect on the loot in the chest T-Map or SOS, it only affect the monsters spawned while doing them.

@Kyronix replied in this post that it does affect treasure chest loot. I know there was another thread where he did say that luck affected the SOS loot too but I cannot find that thread.

I can attest that luck affects treasure chest loot - 2k luck gives much better loot vs 0. I haven't done any asos yet though!

I believe the changes came about in the loot revamp. Prior to the new loot system, luck didn't have an effect.

Also, there was the change to SOS scrolls when you opened them that was a welcome surprise when I started doing them again after a year or two of just sitting on them.

Brilliant! thanks for your feedback and I'm sure its close to 4 or 5.

As for luck, we did 2 ASOS's and my wife insist I put on her luck suit. We certainly felt like the luck suit improved the quality of items. We also pulled up the bikini top. Not to bad
