Apparently speedhacking is legal?

The program currently in circulation amongst those everyone is calling "a cheater" does not do this.

I really like how your post implies that one may exist, even though it does not.
You can keep repeating the same erroneous statement over and over, it doesn't make it any more correct each time you say it.
What is exactly "erroneous" about my statement? I'm making no implicative posts, such as the ones you post. "Well hey, it's possible that one day that someone may eventually be able to hack the game, so that must mean that people are hacking it right now"

No, so sorry, but no.

The program that you are all complaining about does not enable your character to move faster than what you all are able to move.

Its why people run faster in KR than in 2d, the client/server sync seems to be a bit better.

Get over it.

EA implemented a hard speed cap on the server side years ago. what exactly would be the point of putting the cap on the client side? ..since that's where the hack would be running...

But your right no speedhack exists so you can name ***** engine by name since it does nothing right? All those pvpers who skip and post screen shots of them using it are ignorant as it doesnt do **** for there speed right? ****ing please.
Read this.

There are speedhacks that may make you move faster than you could have without one.
There are no speedhacks that allow you to go faster than the server-side speed cap.

The speedhack doesn't work by making the character teleport. People who aren't speedhacking skip too. The reason for skipping is because of latency between the server and both clients... your slow client is catching up with their fast client. the speed hack is not injecting locations to teleport to.
Then read this.

Okay guys let me explain this to you as a programmer
The cap lets say is 1 , cause if your ping is 0 you lose connection.
What is happening is legit players can only get to maybe 10 , as the speed hackers get to 1 by using memory injection, and CPU using more resources.

The freaking problem is a latency issue between the clients we play on and the server with which we interact with each other on.

No one is hacking the game. No one is hacking anything. Its the same kind of thing (but to more of an extreme) that you would get by setting the UO client to a higher priority in the task manager.

This is an issue the developers could have fixed a long time ago... I also think, that a big reason why they haven't is because if they did... then those with poor connections/computers would notice a dramatic difference between their games performance and someone with a solid pc/conn. (Only rational issue I can come up with... ok?)

No one is (for the love of god!!!) hacking the damn game.

I'll also make a little warning to people that naming these programs isn't permitted, nor is explaining in detail how they work...both have happened here.
