With a 2nd account character standing in the Fel Minoc moongate, I tried Reveal & Detect with no luck. Had my 2nd character drop a book and that didn't reveal him either. Field spells won't cast over the gate and give the 'can't cast that in town message'. I placed a summoned (level 5) pet next to the gate and Chain Lightning won't cast on it & maybe hit a nearby target as well with the same message. Had no luck with Spellweaving spells either. Spirits willing, but my technique needs work. Should have taken those TDO homicide lessons.
Tried a greater explosion beside the moongate and on the moongate, didn't take a single hp. You would think with this being Fel, there would be a way of committing mayhem on someone playing a live version of ghostcam in a moongate. Thinking of Yew gate.
Exactly why does it really matter if someone is hidden there or not? You can double click the gate a tile away so no need to actually walk thru.
If you're red an xplo pot will work but you will get guardwacked. It won't work though if you're blue and they're blue too.

I was planning on instilling a touch of paranoia in the minds of litterbugs during those nine gold-seller site book drops. Of course, I'm sure it would work both ways with their trying to return the favor to my ToS vigilante guild.

This might not do much to the hidden character, but it might at least give you some laughs: Go do the quest for Flint's Pungent Brew in the Underworld. Next, stand near the hidden character and take a swig o'Flint's. Your character's drunken aura SHOULD make the hidden character drunk, if your character is within melee range. No telling what might happen next. Caution: I'm not sure if getting another character drunk this way flags your character or not.
Be red. stone on alchy, load up with alchy items (ring, bracel;et, tali...etc). bag-o-explo pots. Have fun, expect to die..be glad if you don'tPlease tell me yes and what I missed trying.
JOAT will work even if the person has GM hiding and 120 stealth...... it just takes a few tries.... this to me is total NONSENSE and a WASTE of 220 skill points. That's why I quit wasting skill points in hiding and stealth..... totally worthless.
Find whatever bug it is that allows archers to hit and target you in stealth.... and use that. I don't know how many times I had that happen.
But really I'd suggest going red and trying it. And then use explosions load up on the alchemy and alchemy bonus's.

It may or may not be classified as a bug but here's how it works. And it's been at least 5 years since I've had an archer so it's at least 6 years old.
For example:
You: stealther
Me: archer/thrower
You're hidden and attack me but i'm not within range. As soon as I kill whoever I was attacking you'll automatically be targeted (I can't see you though to physically target) so once I get within my 10tile range I will auto attack you while you are hidden just because i'm still in war mode. I've actually had a few kills over the years where I killed hidden players where they don't even show until they die. It's rather amusing.

Minimum 80 play hours stuck in Fel, 40 for the 5th long term to be red, 40 for doing in one target. Yeep.
Unless you're lucky, it takes more than a few tries, takes a lot more (the joys of the RNG). However, I wouldn't declare 220 a total waste of skill points for hiding/stealth, unless you're only using it to stand still. For JOAT detect to have even a remotely successful chance of working, they have to target the exact tile you're standing on. If you're stealthing around, the individual will just be wasting their time. Tis my experience at least, been stealthing for a long time on my thief.

Sounds like a major bug.... But that's just me.... rather annoying. Made me quit using my stealth and all... seemed like a total waste of time.

Gold sellers who scatter books all over are the sole current targets. It got very tiresome having the books scattered all over the place day in and day out on top of the dang triple repetition general chat gold selling messages, but that EA has to deal with the chat problem. Their messages don't stay blocked unfortunately.I must have read that wrong

Reveal and Detect Hidden didn't reveal my other character in the moongate. I was casting with a 115+ human mage.
Reveal spell will never work on a character with hiding. Detect hidden will work although I'm not sure the recent changes work properly. As it stands I seem to only be able to reveal reds on my blue, blues on my red, and grey actively flagged characters. The higher the hiding/stealth the more detect you will need to reveal.
As I suggested earlier, best to try on a red. The book dropper is more than likely blue.
I'm not sure I want to sentence my gargoyle to 80 or more play hours in Fel over it. Doesn't seem worth it.
Try avoid killing characters picking up those books like me, "Jade " "Clean Up Officer" "Eliminator" "Incinerator" etc ..I was planning on instilling a touch of paranoia in the minds of litterbugs during those nine gold-seller site book drops. It's a risk that goes with the territory that myself and others are so willing to accept - - so, if you find a way to poof those Plagues, be my guest!!

Anybody seeing my post that I posted on this thread last night? I am receiving notifications after jade posted but not seeing it. Yes I cleaned my cookies and computer like I do every night and just this post can't be seen
