No, I'm not being sarcastic. I don't know if it was intended or not, but the result has been perfect. I'll explain myself.
Ever since the "champ spawns" came to the Felucca rules set there has been one type that has completely dominated, and anyone who has spent any time at all "running champ spawns" knows which that is, the infamous "rat spawn". Now in T2A this is so much the case that the other types of spawns would often not even be attempted. All the nasty pvp'rs would run around popping spawns trying to get a rats spawn, and if they didn't get what they were looking for, they'd go do something else.
Well that is in the process of changing. The rat spawn is easily the easiest of the spawn types and frankly it is fairly boring and predictable. A few people can knock off a rat spawn very quickly if they know what they are doing. Or at least they could. Now however, you never know when those obligingly easy to kill hell hounds are going to morph into those absolute buggers, the ancient hell hounds, at the benison of the treat bag of some twisted little stealther. Funny how a dozen or more of those hell hounds will suddenly make the other spawn types much more attractive.
So serious kudos to the dev team for keeping us on our toes, mixing things up a little, and forcing at least some of us out of our comfort zones.
