developers that actually have talent and passion for the game.

I like to think of myself as this.

I suppose they aren't mutually exclusive.

The point I'm trying to make is not only is this game losing money at insane amounts yearly

If game was losing money it would be shut down.

It would have to be making a small profit to keep the lights on and pay whatever staff they have.

I hope I am not in any violation for mentioning this, but di anyone here try something like "Outlands" server a UO emu? For ideas about new things or facelift for the formal/legacy UO upgrades/ possible enhancements, this may be an eye opener. Outlines is primarily PvP, but could be fashioned to the present state PvP/PvM of our legacy UO, but the taming ability to manipulate pets proficiencies, the different specialties of characters, and graphic engine are hard to believe. This may give some ideas for upgrading this game. However the code will have to be re-written, and I doubt that this is possible for legacy game with limited resources.
Admittedly, I do not play Outlands, and prefer our legacy game. So just ideas about enhancements esp to PvP, taming, pets and character classes and specialisations and graphics and ease of life concert.
