I have work meetings and conventions there. Its an easy place to meet because when you are getting people together from around the world - everyone likes to visit Vegas and there are alot of cheap flights.Want better golf packages and such, try the smaller towns outside Vegas. With the economy in the state that its in youcan pick up an overnight stay In Laughlin or Mesquite for 99 bucks or less and that includes the room 1 round 18 holes of golf and a spa treatment for the old lady. It usually is only an hour drive to them and the air is much cleaner.
If you dont mind me askin what type of work do you do? Or do you come to Vegas for the conventions and trade shows?
Better golf packages tho? Can you beat free? I have a co-worker who belongs to TPC and we entertain clients and write it off. Does it get any better? I rarely pay for anything when I go except for gambling. Hotel, golf, food, nightclubs is all paid.
TPC is a really nice track and close to Red Rock Casino and Spa.
For those who haven't been - Red Rock is a fabulous new casino and you don't have to deal with all the Pirates of Carribean crap on the strip. The rooms are very nicely done. The marble baths are a nice touch and you get a great view of the Vegas skyline from there. Also the steak joint (T-Bones) on-site is quite good. Plus is just a short drive to TPC (like 2 miles).
Unfortuneately my trip will be to the Rio tho. No choice on location.
Ok, I'm not trying to hijack the football thread with travel recommendations.
Where is Khalan to talk about how great Orton is as a QB?
