I don't play Siege nore do I PvP, so feel free to ignore this post as you feel fit.
- I feel that hiding/stealthin/tracking/detect should work the same on all shards(if for no other reason that is is less of a learning curve for people moving to/from siege, and I'm sure less code tomanage).
- - Hiding/Stealth used to take longer to use. You used to need to wait 10? seconds between hiding and stealthing, and stealthing had to be triggered between the # of allowable steps(use hide skill, wait 10 seconds, use stealth skill, take 10 steps and wait 10 seconds, use stealth skill again, take 10 steps and wait 10 seconds...).
- - In that format I feel that Detect Hidden worked fine with it's own 10? second wait between skill uses.
- - Stealth was then changed to not need to wait 10 seconds after hiding, lets say that makes Hiding/Stealth 2x better. Stealth can now walk, and even occasionally run, twice as many steps before triggering the skill check again, lets say that makes Hiding Stealth 4x better than it used to be. Triggering the Stealth skill no longer requires a player manually trigger the skill usage, which also means the player no longer needs to keep track of how many steps they take, lets say that make Hiding/Stealth 5x better.
- - I think that Detect should have it's skill timer cut in half(at least).
- - I think that Tracking and Forensics should add to the success chance of the Detect hidden skill in a way that having Tracking and Forensics but 0 Detect there is no bonus.
- - I think that Passive reveal should be based only on Detect and slightly on Tracking.
- - I feel that if Int gives any kind of bonus to reveal/passive reveal it should not come into play unless the char has Detect at a certain level(70ish?). e.g. {Though 'Brain Surgeons' are reguarded as being intelligent, that doesn't mean they could be a programmer. They would need some kind of knowledge/training}.
- - I feel that if someone with a higer Detect level 'pushes through' a hidden char that passive reveal should make a skill check at a higher level than normal.
