If you Exit Vesper via the northern bridge and run as directly north as possible it'll lead into the correct peninsula.

I don't use Auto map. I can try posting a pic of KR's map. It may take a moment.

I think the Halloween contest was over before the trees were introduced/grown.

Running directly north should get you to the peninsula, then turning north east should get you close enough to the house so that a Sextant should be more helpfull. Good Luck!

That appears to be the right spot. Yes perfect spot, there is even a Keep next the this house.

P.S.

FYI, there is an item that is suppossed to be able to be walked over. It can be walked over in 2D, but it blocks movement in KR. The way I have the item set up, you must be able to walk over it to advance.
