Does anyone out there miss the Third Dawn client? Also did you migrate to legacy or KR?
In the LBR days I was almost always playing 3d. Once AoS came out and destroyed the 3d client, I went back to strictly playing 2d. There hasn't been a good 3d client since.Does anyone out there miss the Third Dawn client? Also did you migrate to legacy or KR?
meh ... I know I should ... I probably will. I just hate the impersonal feel of the feedback form. It doesnt even send you an automated "message received" note. It feels like sending a message into the void. You should make that shorter and send it in via the feedback form. They are re-doing the KR client for SA and they are looking for ideas.
it may seem like it but you're not. that is the best way to contact the dev team. it would waste so much time to try and respond to everyone, it's much better that she spends the time actually reading and filing away the ideas, bugs, and other feedback. better than PM'ing her, sending an e-mail, paging a GM, or complaining to the billing department over the phonemeh ... I know I should ... I probably will. I just hate the impersonal feel of the feedback form. It doesnt even send you an automated "message received" note. It feels like sending a message into the void.
it's not automation.I do know that. I have had a question I submitted end up on the FoF. I just wish the feedback system acknowledged a message receipt, at least.
The day that any company decides automation is preferred over human contact is a very sad day ....
My idea of automation vs. human contact and yours appear to differ. Automation (to me) = send a feedback form vs. open an idea thread and have an OPEN DISCUSSION of pro/cons. Automation = canned GM message vs. GM coming to discuss the matter. Automation = "Press 1 for UO, Press 2 for DAoC" vs. "Helllo, this is So-an-SO, how can I help you?"it's not automation.
the current way it works is after you send feedback you get sent to the herald blog. i suppose it should say "Thanks for submitting feedback" or something like that.
