Excellent idea! There has to be something telling the EA folks (least I hope so), that certain items have been duped. Put that factor into allowing items to be placed on vendors or hell even better yet... LABEL the items (DUPED/ILLEGAL) so casual folks aren't penalized by these even when buying from bank/private sellers.

That's not to say anything bad about the suggestion - it's still a good idea. It just wouldn't have worked for the bulk of the problems from this recent banning is all.

but would have the affect on any other dupped items.
your saying the bods were dupped not the hammers so players are being banned for buying legal items and not dupped ones? yes i know the hammers are rare, and players should of know but why not just delete the hammers why ban for it

Ty, and actually Im the only one out of my siblings that was born without blonde. So I am the only one in my family that has auburn hair, and has dark hazel eyes. My blonde moments might come from being raised with blondes tho LOL

If they items could be readily detected as being dupes in the first place, they would simply not be allowed to exist in the first place.

There are two types of dupes.. ones that have the same invisible identification numbers (usually ones just made), and ones that have different ones (having been filtered through one of several game mechanics). There is literally no way to tell on the latter one aside from guessing, and I don't think the former is possible to mess with given how the game works or it would have been tagged by now.
