Now we cannot even log in at all, to even see the servers! This really sucks.
Right..lets not complain about this. Someone is really trying to shut them down. And they are without defence, and no solution as to what to do. Lots of players are really getting pretty upset.

Looks like the DDOS McDonald kid found a way to target the log-in server? So on-off you cannot even log in -anywhere-. Just tells you "try again later" on and on..Well Im going to bed.

Let's hope not. If Garriot was a such a great game manager, his post-UO titles would have been more successful. That's not to take away from what he founded with Origin Systems, but I think UO would be closer to the end under his management than under the current leadership.

ya it was strange, i was on all day with no issues.
then i lost conn and had a hell of a time getting back on.
took me a solid 10 minutes to get back into game.
but now that im in i seem to be fine.
definitely the log in servers that are getting drilled tonight.

I just had a thought, it would have been interesting if reagents needed to be harvested from semi-randomly placed sources (based on geography) to acquire bulk reagents.... rather than just spawning all over the grass, and being sold on vendors by the hundreds. Not that it's really mattered for 2 decades anyway with LRC... I've forgotten the reagents required for many magic spells now, and I always play as a mage, that's how bad it is. What did they do to our poor UO... now it's being battered about by some rando; being made someone's little b***h... well, allegedly anyway, it sounds believable, I guess.

They also should never have allowed (frfr) no cap on LRC... what the hell were they thinking back then. Maybe 80% maximum, 1 in 5 chance of failure.

Can we just start UO all over again. Cheers devs.

The server situation looks much better! No disconnections on ATL and GL... everything seems back to normal, and the ping is definitely better now: ATL and GL below 100, EUR below 50!
