Khaldun questions

It's that time of the year again, trying to find those relics in Khaldun! I've spend quite a few hours walking around trying to find them, and have a few questions on it all (They might have been answered before, but couldn't find a clear answer on all):

1. Do the relics spawn in both the puzzle boxes and the hidden chests?
2. Do they simply appear in the box, and then need to be stolen?
3. Does luck influence the chance of the rares spawning in the chest?
4. Do the puzzle boxes + hidden chests respawn faster if completely emptied after they are solved/unlocked?

Hope someone can help answer these, and hopefully it can be a help to the other lost souls out there searching the dark dungeon corners for these rare relics.

2) They appear in the box AND they must be stolen out. Beware - sometimes you may fail several times even at 120 real before you get it!
3) I've gotten 5 relics and I run zero luck. Maybe doesn't answer your question, but it didn't hinder my hunt.
4) They seem to be on a timer when they reset. I start from one side, run the whole dungeon, and shortly after finishing it's ready again. And I do not empty them.

2) They appear in the box AND they must be stolen out. Beware - sometimes you may fail several times even at 120 real before you get it!
3) I've gotten 5 relics and I run zero luck. Maybe doesn't answer your question, but it didn't hinder my hunt.

I wonder if that then only applies to the loot in the box (armor, gold, etc.) or also increases the chances for the rares.

Do you have any idea on how much time you spent to get them? Just an estimate

Oh man, the 5 relics I pulled was over a 2 year span (2 the first year, 3 the following) and I spent every minute that I was online in Khaldun. So timewise it was quite a bit.

If I had to guess, it's probably a 1:500 chance at a relic appearing in a chest.

I'd suspect it's a different roll of the dice for a relic versus loot and, probably, is not a factor.

And remember, the Relics are shard bound Very difficult to complete a full set on a dead shard.... but they will sell at a high price whichever shard you find them on!

Inexperienced lock picker here. What is the best skill set to have when doing these chests for runics in the dungeon? Yes, I have soul stones to transfer skills. Have max luck suit, willing to party to learn the ropes. Have not been playing lately, but this topic intrigued me. Thanks,

So at a minimum you will need:

Stealing
Hiding
Stealth
Detect Hidden
Lockpicking

You should also have magery to toss EVs as a distraction when you're working.

Remove trap is nice to have, and actually so is poisoning as it lets you resist most of the poison traps.

To get relics you need stealing, lockpicking and detect hidden. Add a ball of knowledge to help find the chests. Magery,music and peacemaking are nice skills to add to make a great relic hunter.

Very good advice to use a ball of knowledge. It's always been a PITA finding the chest when walking around and seeing the message *Something is near by* but not actually being super close to it. The ball should help narrow down the range.

Just an update for those interested, I finally managed to find a relic after many hours of searching. So I can confirm that they do actually spawn!
I found this in a puzzle box, and I had zero luck while doing this. Stole it at first try, with 120 stealing (90 real skill).



I'll keep searching to see if I can get any closer to a set!
