Go on..
You suxxors at BODs.My crafter is pretty good at solo'ing BODs. However, the drop rate on alchemy larges is incredibly low and I have yet to get one. So I can't say that I've been able to solo for any dyes yet.
I put Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and Deep Blue on to this question...
And they all responded - "It does not compute...."
That is a nice classic template! I might do this with my ninja archer, he's been sitting there doing nothing lately.I am back to loving my archer
120 Archery
120 Tactics
120 Anat
120 Healing
120 Chiv
120 Resisting spells.
It is super easy to have 210+ stamina and 150hp on your suit.
Curious what is your main healing source on that build?120 Mace
120 Bush
120 Spellweav
120 Spell Res
90 Tact +10 from arm
90 Anat +10 from arm
60 Chiv
Interesting stuff, Acid.2 of my favs are the gargoyle mystic bard with just enough magery to never fizzle inviso (92 I believe?)
1 ) 120mystic 120focus 120music 120provoke(105 real but using jewls) 120disco 92magery(real 75-ish but using jewls) and 50med.
Can pretty much solo all normal stuff farming mats and normal dungeons just not big bosses. Get enough MR as possible then figure out
a way to add more. A full selection of slayer spellbooks and slayer instruments seals the deal.
2nd is my human warrior swordsman (elves smell funny).
2) 120swords 120tactics 120anatomy 120parry 100bush 90healing(only using enhanced bandages effectively GM healing) and 50chiv.
Can pretty much solo anything in the game QUICKLY. Much more versatile then any sampire. Most sampires get owned by stuff I can kill.
Heal w/ bandages, bush confidence, life leech on weps, and sometimes chiv. Never reliant on swinging for hit points like a sampire makes
stuff like Navrey(when ur frozen) & EM monsters a cake walk. Human for a level 6 no skill weaving focus - with attunement/gift of renewal
cast... I'm damn near invulnerable for 60 secs or so. Its harder to play then a sampire but who wants to play an easy template?
PS. Also on the 2nd temp - get the cap of 17% damage eater on armor & ride an except. armored swampy for the additional 18% lower PvM damage.
Effectively 35% less damage in PvM combine w/ evasion for the hairy moments & keep counter attack spammed for extra damage & life/mana leeching.
Great post, thanks! By the way what is NC? (Just learning and doing similar template..)Mystic/mage/weaver, human
With suit:
Mysticism 120
Spellweaving 120
Magery 120 (100+20 from ring)
Focus 120 (110+10 from equipment)
Eval 120
Inscription 100
Meditation 60 (20+40 from equipment)
STR 100+, Dex 30, INT 150; (working from memory); HP are over 100, Stam 30, Mana 166
Suit is 70/70/70/70/70 even with protection cast. Goes to 75s in stone form. Note, this suit actually has ZERO resist in the gorget slot, using a Pendant of the Magi
2/5 casting that drops to -1 FC with both Protection & Stone Form.
110+ LRC, 40+ LMC, 28 or higher MR (not checked the suit recently), SDI 50+ (as much as 103 with city bonus and spellbook). at least 2 items with casting focus, a total of somewhere around 5-10 HPR, and 25-30% Soul Charge on my shield. Something like 25% DCI. I have at least one eater property on an item, forget what, but it is more a side effect than intent.
Only about 265 luck, but with access to the bonus for a 15-year account from luck statue. Even at 265, tends to get better drops than my 1275 luck (before statue) tamer.
Uses a level 6 focus and Swellweaving mastery. With my best book and the city bonus, my WoDs hit for 600+. Nether Cyclone for AoE, while having a RC cast almost constantly. Gift of Life, Gift of Renewal, Cleansing Winds take care of healing (disarm macro and a healing stone for backup healing - rarely have to use). Single spell damage runs the entire range for all 3 casting skills, though bombard gets used most when the resists make it best (or no worse) than the others, due to its mana cost. If controlled summons are more useful, a mix of eles and pixies comes out. If quantity uncontrolled trumps quality of summons, then EVs and Nature's Fury. EQs to get the mobs attention followed by invis, and letting the summons do their thing, finishing with NC centered on self.
AAhh I got it I think..NC is Nether Cyclone? Centered on self? You target self? Does it damage you? Thanks again..NC is a Mys spell I never learned how to use..Great post, thanks! By the way what is NC? (Just learning and doing similar template..)
Same temp, high MR suit, imbuing instead . of focus, and gargie for mounted speed, also high SDI book from event 48%, total damage up to 85% from suit etc..just building SW for toon.
Yeah, Nether Cyclone. Fun AoE spell - Doesn't damage you but damages other targets - However, it's chaos damage (identical targets could get hit versus different resists even from the same spell), and does more damage than many other area spells. It's not 100% success rate at 120 (neither is Rising Colossus), but has a nice benefit in that it WORKS IN A GUARD ZONE as long as you TARGET A MOB. Trying to hit an area without targeting a creature fails from the anti-AoE guard zone code like all the others. It quickly became my favorite offensive spell for swarms of stuff and at events in a guard zone where I find myself on my caster (instead of my tamer), and when I'm are up against something with odd resists that my other spells are weak against. Bombard is great as a replacement for flame strike - similar damage, far less mana cost.AAhh I got it I think..NC is Nether Cyclone? Centered on self? You target self? Does it damage you? Thank you! Will give it a try..My real skill is 115 but will try to boost it up to 120. Using a book now for this but then I cant use my 48% SDI book, so I will bring real skill to 120. Just keep casting colossus and dispelling it I guess to gain from 115? I guess I must figure a way to disco self? would that work faster? TYVM.Yeah, Nether Cyclone.
