You should have played PvP the day before and after the great faction nerf, the sunshine that Mesanna brought to the game would have turned a different shade sooner.
I hate it too. The 10.0 pinks are nice, but I always get them in skills I will NEVER use, like Forensic Eval, Begging, etc. When I do get enough for one, I just claim it, see what it is, and, more often than not, into the trash it goes. Pardons? On LS, I've seen them go as low as 100k.
I know the feeling with all the issues I've been having with the EC and the fact that I "live" out of other peoples houses on other shards and therefore am really SoL when it comes to these IDOC changes as I won't even be able to go in and get my things if the person quits paying the account... F*** it... I have no way of knowing they aren't paying... even if they get in Vent or on ICQ and I talk to them doesn't mean they are paying their accounts. My "first" and only indication that they are quitting or did quit is likely going to be me going and logging in to find myself out on the street and my things in hock.

Make a stealth Archer... and then go around stealthing finding other folk in Fel doing spawns.... and then announce who's doing what where in Gen Chat..... sit back and wait for the fight to begin... and pick off those who are trying to get away... don't matter what side they are on or guild they are in... just pick off anyone who's near death.

The thrill of pvp comes from the fact that you don't always win, but you can always give it your best shot. Also only fun if the person you are fighting isn't using any hacks or cheats and the field is "fair" and you have decent equipment... etc...

Fighting 10v1 is fun to me, I have done it several times in the past. I run the EC with a solid connection and not many people can outrun me. Its about the challenge, not a chance of success. Obviously I'm not going to "win" fighting 10 people, but I can keep them on their toes and maybe get a couple kills.
Losing and dying are not an issue I do that plenty. I just don't like cheaters who can't seem to play by the rules. IMO if you have to use cheats and hacks to play and win then you aren't winning your just another loser. It takes the fun out of the game for me.
Back to the age old comment about cheats ruining pvp. I guess theres two types of people, people who complain and do nothing. Or people who play and find ways to beat the cheaters and use their cheats against them. Cheaters are everywhere doing every aspect of every game. How can you enjoy the game at all if that is your mentality?
I miss fighting DFA on Lake Austin years back... Walk into the middle of them all and say "You cannot move!" and watch their trapped boxes just start blowing up nonstop.
