Well considering I tried the married thing for 8 years worst mistake of my life I don't care to repeat anytime ever.... I don't think I'll have to worry about that...
As for my Funeral... I've told my kids a few things I'd like played one would be Amazing Grace... on bagpipes. Sung by my friends. Another would be Terry Jacks:
And then SixxAM:
And then of course I told them if they buried me and made me slurry in the bottom of a box I would haunt them for eternity...
Why thank you. Always loved that song. Makes me cry now that my parents are gone. One of those songs I enjoy listening to. But I love music. I can listen to most anything long as it has a good beat or decent lyrics... or whatever. I'm not much into Rap or Country or Jazz.. but I do listen to it on occasion... even Opera. My favorite being Carmina Buranna.... and O'Fortuna... Which is in a LOT of movies when they want something creepy sinister sounding or "awesome holy" or whatever... Anyway it's cool. Orff does a good job with it. I first heard it and wanted to know where the song was from after watching Excalibur... As it's in that..... as well as The Omen... and a few other movies. You have good taste with Terry Jacks * Seasons in the Sun*
I really don't want a funeral but... locked and loaded! I have my best friend all ready to play this song at my funeral should I ever die prematurely. What do you want played at your funeral?
Or wedding, same diff
Take a wedding march and play it slowly and it turns into a funeral dirge. What do you want played at your funeral?
Or wedding, same diff
No other song that I know has ever been written and sung with more feeling and emotion than this one. It has and always will bring me to tears and make me know how precious life is. All life.
