Well considering I tried the married thing for 8 years worst mistake of my life I don't care to repeat anytime ever.... I don't think I'll have to worry about that...

As for my Funeral... I've told my kids a few things I'd like played one would be Amazing Grace... on bagpipes. Sung by my friends. Another would be Terry Jacks:

And then of course I told them if they buried me and made me slurry in the bottom of a box I would haunt them for eternity...

Why thank you. Always loved that song. Makes me cry now that my parents are gone. One of those songs I enjoy listening to. But I love music. I can listen to most anything long as it has a good beat or decent lyrics... or whatever. I'm not much into Rap or Country or Jazz.. but I do listen to it on occasion... even Opera. My favorite being Carmina Buranna.... and O'Fortuna... Which is in a LOT of movies when they want something creepy sinister sounding or "awesome holy" or whatever... Anyway it's cool. Orff does a good job with it. I first heard it and wanted to know where the song was from after watching Excalibur... As it's in that..... as well as The Omen... and a few other movies.

Terry Jacks was something my older sister and I used to listen to. As well as the song "One Tin Soldier". Which is also a very good tune... but not something I'd play at a Funeral.

I really don't want a funeral but... locked and loaded! I have my best friend all ready to play this song at my funeral should I ever die prematurely.


I also have another friend who is supposed to run up to the coffin and scream, and then when asked what she was doing the reply would be "Warning the afterlife... that a WARRIOR approaches!" Which is a Klingon thing, if no one knows.
So yeah, gonna be a real hopefully humorous nerdy funeral.

To be honest, I've always thought it's funny that people have very specefic requirements for what they want to happen after they die, considering, ya know they'll be dead and will have no control over it, and possibly won't even know whether they got what they wanted or not.

For example, you make a very specefic will where every dollar is accounted for. Then a lawyer or the government steals it all. How would you ever know it happened? and even if you do somehow know it happened....not really much you can do about it from the realm of death.

Or, you make very detailed funeral arrangements, then after you die people decide it's to much work and just ignore it all.

I know it's negative, and depressing, but it could, and does happen.

So, my stance on it would be, "I'm dead anyways, so just do whatever you want".

This isn't meant to be offensive to anyone, just my opinion.

When my body dies I want there to be a party, I want someone to play Another One Bites the Dust by Queen and I would prefer to be burned on a barge sailing off into the distance....or cremated and thrown to the fishes...
